One of the best tours I've ever been on! Transportation and logistics were all taken care of which allowed me to throughly enjoy the trip.
- by Randy CamassoThis tour was excellent. We were met at the airport and brought to the hotel in Quito without any problems. The real adventure started the next day when we landed in the Galapagos and met our tour guide, Sandra Masaqui. She was the reason our adventure was so successful. She took care of us at all times with her knowledge, her guidance, her suggestions for meals and correct clothing for different events; her empathy, her help if we needed it and her company. We couldn't have asked for a better guide to make our trip as special as it was.

My friend and I made a last minute decision to head to the Galapagos and found Tour Radar to coordinate our trip. It was fantastic! It was certainly helpful to have insider knowledge since we had little time to do our own research. When we did have questions (and we did pretty much every day!) I have to give tremendous credit to Tour Radar’s local contact, Jeferson Paucar at Responsible Travel. I don’t think he is ever away from his work because he always immediately answered my DM’s no matter what time of day or night. He was outstanding. As for the trip itself, Galapagos is just magical. Isabela was our favorite island due to its smaller town size, beautiful beaches and friendly vibe. Snorkeling was incredibly amazing with the clearest water. We did the 6 hour Sierra Negra volcano hike. The hike up and back is a bit of a grind, but the enormity of the caldera and the hike down the other side into the lava flow area is amazing. Please bring LOTS of water and some bars. It is described as a 6 hour hike and it is just that. As an avid trail runner and hiker, I was expecting a lot of stopping along the way and thought I might feel slowed down. That was definitely not the case!
- by Jill van VoorhisMy husband and I booked this trip to celebrate our anniversary and we had such an amazing time! Diego, our travel coordinator was very friendly and helpful, always keeping us on track and there to answer any questions we had. The Ilatoa Lodge is a hidden gem. Marcello and family were so welcoming and kind, and happy to help coordinate anything we needed. Enjoy your morning coffee enjoying the magical landscape and beautiful humming birds that frequent the garden. Bring a lot of cash with you. Almost everywhere in Santa Cruz takes credit cards, but vendors will typically upcharge for usage. When you get to Isabela - everywhere is CASH ONLY - we could not find a single place that took cards. There are ATMs, but they are not reliable so don't depend on being able to use them. Make sure you bring more sunscreen than you think you will need. You can buy more at any of the pharmacies once you get to the Galapagos, but it will be much more expensive so come prepared. Hats and sunglasses are a must. I also highly recommend a wetsuit or a rash guard shirt for snorkeling as the water can be chilly! Wet suits can typically be rented on town. Some other helpful tip: - On Day 2 (when you arrive to the Galapagos) - if you get the chance to drop your bags off at the hotel prior to going to the Darwin Center - DO IT. You will have to walk about a mile each way, so you don't want anything heavy with you. - Eat at the Santa Cruz Brewery and 1835 on Santa Cruz. The food was amazing. - For the beach day -- the hike to the beach is a HIKE. It is about 45 mins over an uneven so wear comfortable shoes. cobblestone path

Iorana! Very good 5 day tour of Rapa Nui with fascinating excursions by van of some archaeological sites all over the island, and a well situated, pleasant stay at Hotel Taha Tai. The hotel receptionist greeted us with 2 free drinks (non alcohol) at their restaurant, which includes a fabulous daily full breakfast buffet. We really enjoyed walking along the scenic shoreline route into Hanga Roa every day to explore the charming town, three ahu platforms (with moai), and two mercados artesania. Local tour company Mahinatur employees were organized, competent and friendly with a lovely flower lei greeting at their small airport, and also a farewell moai necklace upon departure. Our tour guide Luis had the challenging job of lecturing about their extensive history and culture in both English and Spanish. Only recommendation for a better tour would be information that the cave tour Ana Te Pahu is a long walk on rocky, dirt roads, plus quite dark in the cave. Small flashlights for the tourists would have been helpful. Overall, we found the local people friendly and welcoming of tourists, and we really enjoyed our visit to this remote, Polynesian island.

The tour exceeded our expectations. The activities were great, the accommodations were excellent, the food was fantastic, and the Grande Daphne's staff went above and beyond to make the experience exceptional.
- by CHARLES SMITHThe tour with Intrepid was very good. We visited lots of places and the guides were great as well.

Great tour guide, Michael M. Great hotels. Wish we had more time on the beach, for swim and that we would stop for photo op. Too bad for Maui fires, we would have loved to go to the other side of island- the stay in Kauea was hurried and rush/rush.
- by Odile PryorIt was a good trip. We saw a lot in all 4 islands, the accommodations in the hotels in Hawaii, Maui and Kauai were fantastic. The hotel in Honolulu (Twin Fin) was in need of updating. The location was good and the food good, but the room was without a chair and was a little seedy. The excursions we went on were fabulous. Loved going from island to island but were disappointed that no accommodations were made to get back from some of the excursions. We were not comfortable with having to find a cab to get back from whale watching or the sunset cruise and elected not to go. There should also be recommendations made for getting to the hotel from the airport and help with getting back to the airport at the end of the trip. All in all, a very good trip, good sights, good food and the group on the tour were wonderful.

We had a number of different guides but it was very well organized and everyone was on time. It seemed like the schedule changed several times and there was at times a number of activities in one day. We walked uphill in the morning and then snorkeling and more walking in the afternoon. Would have liked to have had things stretched out a bit more. You can of course opt out of activities. Navigating to the hotels is no problem from anywhere in town. The first hotel was a very nice facility but the street light was at the height of the room and could keep you awake. The staff all spoke English and were very helpful. The second hotel was a bit worn. The staff did not speak English,
- by Diane Van BoxelThe trip to the Galapagos was eye-opening and exciting, being so close to the wild life animals on land and under the water. All the tour guides are nice and helpful, in particular Rafael Arevalo from Quito who is informative and shared the interesting things about the daily life of the people living in the city. Rafael is also knowledgeable

I had to request all communication including the itinerary, when will pickup be, etc. Aborigen tours outsources to local companies so it's very difficult to get information as you don't know who will be the actual tour guide, pickup person, etc.
- by Kimberly JornaThe tours were really interesting and our tour guide Niko was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He made the stories come to life.

I did receive my updated itinerary until day 3 after following the original one, being confused and having to message the operator multiple times. When I did reach out to the operator upset on day 2, she was unkind and blamed me. This was a poor way to handle a solo female traveler in a foreign country. On day 3, she sent me an itinerary that was consistent and things went okay from there. She also misspelt my name on EVERY document so every tour guide and sign with my name on it was wrong for 10 days which I found annoying.
- by Lenora turcotteEverything's good, just one thing: from ferry to hotel, with luggage, and no wifi, walking in not possible

Had a great time. Tours were a lot of fun.
- by Edward PavlisinThe guides were very good. Advertising over promised and in some cases was misleading - I had the impression that there was a fixed group of people on the tour.

Overall good, the guide was sweet but lacked passion and enthusiasm, very soft spoken
- by Kathleen (MJ) KovarikThe tour group was only 6 and we got on well. A great start. Saw almost everything we wanted to, including a group of Orcas on our personal boat going from Floreana to Isabell. Great snorkelling. So 6 people plus one experienced guide going around the Islands and staying on land every night - compared to being on the same boat with a 100 other people. No contest.

This is a well organised tour and I really enjoyed it. For each trip was a different tour guide and they were all very professional and very knowledgeable. Galapagos is so beautiful and I got to see so many animals, from giant tortoise to sea lion and colourful fish in the ocean. I highly recommend this tour and will definitely do it again.
- by Miguel WuIt was an amazing trip. The programme was well designed to see as much as possible in a few days. The accomodation was not great, but reasonable for the price. The staff at the hotel was really nice and helpful. They even assisted my husband when he needed to see a doctor. Each programme had a different guide, some were excellent, but at one of the snorkelling trips the guide left me and my kids simply behind - we are good swimmers, but could not keep up. The transfer back to the hotel
