This tour is highly recommended , cost saving, hassle free, and super enjoyable. I appreciate the assistance of Long Pham who is with us virtually all throughout the duration of the trip. I learned a lot from this tour. It ensured comfort and relaxation while savoring the sights of Vietnam. Hotels were carefully chosen and foods were palatable.
- by Cartesa PericoAs a solo traveler, with small groups for daily tours, this 11-day tour of Vietnam surpassed all expectations. The experience was truly incredible from start to finish. TourRadar's organization was flawless, with special mention to Thang from customer support. Their prompt, perfect, and supportive assistance allowed me to fully immerse in the beauty of Vietnam without worries. Accommodations were top-notch - clean, comfortable, and ideally located. The tour struck an excellent balance between guided excursions and free time for personal exploration. Transportation was a highlight, featuring comfortable vehicles and skilled drivers who ensured timely arrivals at each destination. This efficiency allowed for a relaxed and immersive experience throughout the journey. Vietnam's stunning landscapes, rich culture, and warm hospitality left an indelible mark, creating countless beautiful memories. This tour served as the perfect introduction to this amazing country. I highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking an in-depth exploration of Vietnam. Thank you for an incredible journey that exceeded expectations!

This is honestly such a good beginner friendly tour, everything is handled for you and there is no stress at all. I honestly couldn't not recommend it enough, and have already booked onto another tour!

The tour was well organized. However, the Anise hotel in Hanoi did not match our expectations and. certainly, cannot be considered as a 3-star hotel

Driver to pick us came in late andDoes not speak English. The hotel room we stayed after Halong trip was not cleaned yet when we got in the room. They were trying to check out at 12 pm onnFeb 10, and we stated that we are checked till February 11 although we are leaving 11pm. Enjoyed the Halong cruise and half said Hanoi city tour.

Hera Grand Luxury Cruise was an amazing experience. The 5 course meals were delicious and staff friendly and attentive. Our accommodation was comfortable and gorgeous. Communication with company was prompt and thorough most of the time. Our final transfer had hiccups that were resolved.

The tour was perfectly planned, even though I booked it at very short notice. I made a mistake by choosing the wrong arrival date, yet the perfect solution was still found for me. I could ask questions continuously, and Ha (Evelyn) was able to answer all of them – thank you very much for that. Every day was well-organized, and the journeys from one place to another were very pleasant and comfortable. Dear Ha, thank you for the enjoyable time and your dedication during my trip. I would recommend this tour to anyone planning a group trip through Northern Vietnam.
- by Claudia DresslerVietnam Tour Fun had been providing excellent service and support throughout our trip. Ms Mai Hoa started to connect with us a few days before we arrived Vietnam. She was contactable throughout the whole trip. We scheduled to have Halong Bay cruise in the last 2 days in our itinerary. However a typhoon was approaching Vietnam and the government announced no cruise was allowed to set sail for safety reason. Ms Mai Hoa immediately contacted us and offered alternative trips for choosing. The difference in the tour fee was refunded to us after our trip finished. We were very happy with the services of Vietnam Tour Fun and Ms Mai Hoa. We had a great time there.

Fabulous adventure seeing multiple parts of Vietnam. All transport arrangements were seamless in terms of collection from hotels, airports and trains. The trips all gave us a well thought through experience of culture and natural world. The first half is fast paced in terms of moving daily, the second contrasted well with 2 three night stays.

Everything about the experience has been absolutely world-class. It’s been a uniformly fantastic experience that routinely exceeded expectations. Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your work to make this trip a tremendous success
- by Susan AlderTour was not as expected, Halong bay was not at all luxurious as promised in tour guide, train trip was very bad, we had a train compartment which contained two used bunk beds, we couldn't sit. The transport to Halong bay was with 17 people instead of the maximum of twelve (we booked a private tour!). The hotels listed in the tour guide were note the same, we should go to the Skylark after the trip to Halong Bay but ended up in the same Golden Silk Boutique Hotel where the breakfast was at seven already sold out (empty trays). We paid our own taxi's to transfer from the not booked Skylark hotel to the Golden Silk Boutique Hotel (otherwise it would have taken ages to arrange transport). In alle cases we paid for our our diners, while the tour guide suggested arranged diners. All in all not the trip we expected and we are not going to book a tour with your company again.

This two night three day trip to ha long bay was lovely- some spectacular landscapes - fabulous food and wonderful attentive staff the entire journey. Highlights for us were the food, surprise cave, and the cooking lesson on the boat each night. Would highly recommend this tour
- by STRINA LaureThe activity was very well organized, from the pick-up to the return transport in very comfortable minibuses, everything was great. The service, the food and drinks on the ship were first class. All program points on the ship can be used voluntarily. (If you use everything, it could feel a little stressful because you don't have much time to take a bath in the room or just sit comfortably on the balcony of the cabin or relax a little on deck. Conclusion: you can skip program points if you want to enjoy more time on board. I would definitely do the tour again

It was a good trip. Swallow tour operators took care of everything end to end. Well communicated. 4 starts instead of 5 because the hotel room that was given to us was not we expected in Hanoi. Otherwise, cruise and others are 5stars!
- by Deepan GunasekaranGreat impressions from Halong Bay. However, there are a lot of boats on the way. - Well-organized boat trip with an overnight stay. Food very sufficient and tasty, friendly staff.

Here's an honest, unbiased review of my trip to Vietnam and Cambodia with G Adventures. First of all, I've never been on any adventure trip before, however I went with my wife, her sister and her husband, as three of us are turning 60 this year and we thought we'd do something a little different for a change. Booked with G Adventures, as my sister is a travel agent and said they'd never had any problem with them. First of all, we initially flew to Singapore for three nights and did Raffles, the Marina Bay Hotel and the cables cars etc. TIP - 1. they've got a modern underground, which is easy to use. 2. Raffles Long Bar opens at 11am, so get there sharp before the queues start. 3. Singapore is expensive, so beware. We then flew up to Hanoi where we met up with our tour guide (CEO) Phi Hoang and the other ten travellers. From then on we travelled down through Vietnam by bus, train and plane, as well as a night on a boat at Ha Long Bay. TIP - 1. Visit Train Street in Hanoi, it's fun having a train almost take your nose off ! 2. Do the bike ride in Hoi An, experience the free-for-all main roads, before heading out into the fields. Everybody in the group loved it. 3. There's a vegetarian brunch at a Monastery - I love my meat, but it was one of the best meals I've had. 4. Yes, the toilets are basic on the overnight train journey, but the cabins are clean, so pack plenty snacks and have fun. My wife and her sister were a little apprehensive beforehand, but it was a laugh and Phi came round all the cabins taking photos of us. 5. Don't miss the Cu Chi tunnels in Saigon - a must do experience. Try and do the war museum afterwards, which is very informative. We then headed by bus into Cambodia where we did the Killing Fields at Phnom Penn - a very sobering experience. We also did the sunrise at Angkor Wat, an amazing series of temples only a 15 minute drive from our hotel in Siem Reap. We then had a long bus journey to Bangkok where we spent the night, before flying home the following day. Phi was with us the whole trip and was an outstanding guide. If you're lucky enough to get him as your CEO then you'll have a superb time. He speaks excellent English, keeps you updated every day on what's happening, as well as setting up a Whatsapp group where he adds more information, as well as posting photos he takes of the group. He also arranges an evening meal every night at a local restaurant, which you can attend or you can do your own thing. At every activity though, you feel he's always floating around, keeping everybody safe and watching out for any issues. On that note, I never felt threatened or in danger in any of the countries we visited. The locals were always friendly and helpful. We stayed in quite a few hotels. Some were more basic than others, but all were clean, had hot water and air-con. TIP - it's very hot and humid, so pack plenty insect repellent. We had a lot better time than we thought we would and that was a lot down to our CEO. There's several long bus journeys in the trip, but there's regular stops along the way to break things up. We'd definitely use G Adventures again.
