I signed for a 7-day tour and was picked up with people who paid for 5-day. Flying across the world I was told to wait for two days waiting for them. When I mentioned why I was told to come at this date and time I got no response. You are basically driven long hours and kept in the dark about the plans the whole time. Hotels are 2stars the best. The driver, hotel staff and guide worked hard and I feel bad seeing they are bein taken advantage. You better off financially using booking your tours. In Spain there are many great tours daily. It was a complete waste of my time and money as I spent a lot of money doing the daily tours on my own.
- by Ellie FoxOrganisation & communication were very poor. No one met me at the airport so I ended up taking a taxi to the hotel. The 2 ''emergency' phone number used were useless. No reply or entirely in Spanish. Tour Radar did not inform me that the tour was subcontracted to Mapa Tours & the local guide who hosted the evening events said I wasn't with Mapa - consequently they left without me. Once it was sorted, I had to taxi to get to the restaurant to meet my fellow travellers - none of whom spoke English. Very uncomfortable! I was the only English speaker on the tour for the first 2 days - no one spoke English except me & most of the commentary was in Spanish. I could go on & on....... The sights & local guides were excellent & the hotels were good, but I would not recommend this tour to anyone who does not speak Spanish.

Wonderful trip! The tour guides Aman amd Andrea were very knowledgeable. They treated us like family. Loved the trip. Miami 6
- by Lee MWe are happy with the tour. Got to see lots of places but be prepared to live out of your suitcases since we practically switched hotels almost every night and some we checked in at 9:30PM and checked out at 8AM the next morning!

Excellent tour: great hotels and guides, highly recommended. The only little problem was the lack of a detailed schedule for different activities.

First time to trip and it was amazing. The culture, people, way of life, history & places we explored didn’t disappoint. Do make the effort to get out at night time as the cities really come to life & feel magical.

The tour was great. I enjoyed much of if, although I personally didn't care for the Alhambra, though my travel companion loved it. The trip is underrated as a Level 3 for exertion. I had no problems with all the walking, but some in our group did. I think it should be a Level 4. Also, our plane arrived in Madrid about 5:30 AM, and we got to our hotel maybe at 8 or 8:30 AM. There was nothing to do but sit at the hotel andand wait for our rooms to be ready, many hours later. There should have been something planned, like a bus tour of the city or something. It was a total waste of a whole day. I also had a frustrating experience with the Collette customer service prior to the tour. We were interested in finding out the cost to upgrade to business class, but I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone, even after several calls, about what the cost difference would be. It was my first time to travel with Collette, and that didn't set well to make me a potential repeat customer.
- by KayAitor, our tour manager, was outstanding in handling a very tricky medical situation while herding the remaining 40 of us thru Cordoba. His excellent management skills and winning personality make him an asset to Collette. Our local guides were also wonderful; I especially enjoyed Christian in Seville. Kudos to Fernando our driver for keeping us safe and on time. I thought the tour was a good combination of group time and free time, the hotels were good value for the money with excellent locations and the included meals were in lovely local restaurants with plenty of good food. The paella lunch in Valencia was a winner! I was skeptical about the flamingo show in Seville, but it was very entertaining and won me over. My biggest surprise was how much I enjoyed Valencia...such a beautiful combination of old and new. Thank you for a memorable trip to Spain.

Our guide was outstanding! Accomodation and bus experience was excellent.
- by MatthewWe've used Globus before, and enjoyed the tours every time. Since you do 95% of the planning, it's low stress and an easy way to see several cities in a short amount of time.

Our trip to Southern Spain was amazing. Marco, our tour guide was excellent. He was so informative, friendly and helpful every step of the way. Tour was a good mix of group time, solo time, up time and down time. Highly recommend!
- by lisa ashcraftI was left sick and stranded on the Southern Spain Tour. I am a 72-year-old senior who speaks little or no Spanish. I've traveled with the group several times in the past. This trip was unusual because I had three leaders over two weeks. I came down with a virus in Seville. It was my bad luck to get sick and have a leadership change during this period. I had to stay in the hotel until I recovered. My wife and other tour members went on to Barcelona. I contacted all three tour leaders and the 24-hour hotline. I got no text, phone call, or assistance from either. I was left to my own devices to make it to Barcelona. I tried to report this when I got it. I tried to get through to everyone. I suspect you will have a good experience with this company if you stay healthy and avoid injuries.

Tour was good except for Hotels Granada and Valencia which were too far from the old City. Also these 2 hotels had the shower over the bath which is dangerous for most of us over 70’s. As it was a Premium Tour this is not good enough. Tour leader was very nice and did a good job but we would’ve liked some information about the areas ie weather population crops etc, especially on the long trips fr Granada to Valencia and Valencia to Barcelona. Also having to take our own luggage from bus to station in Seville onto train and from train to bus is not good enough for a premium tour.

I planned to travel independently to the amazing cities of Andalucía but the logistics were a lot so I looked for a small group tour to ease our way. Moorish Andalucía fitted the bill perfectly. Siri was a caring and knowledgeable guide. The hotels and recommendations were excellent. It was a special experience
- by Anne FalloonThe tour could have used better hotels and guides for more of the sites we visited (we had only 2 in 10 days). There was too much "free time" and too little guidance as to what to do with it. I loved the Spanish trains, but wrangling 16 people onto them and other public transportation was crazy and once almost ended in disaster. Although this tour was dubbed "Moorish Andalusia," and this is why we took it, there was not much sense of putting the whole thing together historically. I would not use this company again.

If you are looking for a lot of 'book it yourself' this is the place. I did not compare pricing or how much was not prearranged. Generally mornings were a familiarization tour and travelers needed to book any other activities. The accommodations were marginal -- the earliest were extremely basic. The tour manger/director was high energy and knowledgeable -- but pace was only for the actively fit. Many day trips were by public transport. I booked based on itinerary not activity level and it did include my 'must do' in Granada. The day at Toledo was an unexpected pleasure since we toured with a very knowledgeable guide. I would not use again.
- by Bernice MillerLalo was fantastic!! He added so much to the trip. It would not have been as good as it was without him. He made us feel comfortable everywhere! He obtained local guides that were wonderful. THe accommodations were fine, except for the hotel in Madrid - Acta Medfor. In fact, I arrived a day early and paid for one day. Although I made my reservation two months early, they charged me 244 Euros for one night, which was outrageous as it was a much lower quality hotel. My buddy on the trip also did the same and she was only charged 130 euros. Can't figure it out but feel ripped-off. I should have stayed some place else but only stayed there for the convenience of joining the tour.

Our Travel Director Dominic Nemer(DOM) was a Rockstar, a person with the wealth of knowledge and great organizational skills. Coach Driver Rui was another great expert, was very professional and ensured the safety of the guests during the trip. Great Itinerary, nice accommodations and great Meals.
