Excellent tour. Really couldn't be happier with the people (guides), the locations we went, the food at the Carretão, the hotel Windsor Excelsior, the drivers, etc. etc. I definitely would recommend this tour with the limited days we had in Rio. Glad I found TourRadar!!!

The guides were excellent, being local they were very knowledgeable and passionate about Rio and Brazil, the places and events we went to were amazing and well planned. The hotel was very good and in the best location for carnival. The only reason I gave it a good and not an excellent rating was they used a 3rd party for the actual samba drome event. It was disorganised and the lady running it was rude and not nice to her own staff as well as us, the intrepid tour guides that we had all week were not allowed with us which made it very difficult. Hopefully from our feedback they will not use them again. Otherwise highly recommended this tour.

Jorge and his crew were awesome. We had a great time. There was a last minute hotel change to a less attractive hotel (with no reimbursement) but the overall experience was still great.

It’s ok. It rained a lot of time so we didn’t get to see what we came for. LATAM airlines changed our flight so we missed one night in Rio which was paid for already. Then I had to pay extra night at Sao Paulo because of LATAM charges.

Excellent tour. Had to pay extra to go to Sugarloaf which surprised me. Also, I originally booked for double occupancy and had to pay extra for single occupancy because my daughter could not make the trip. Isn't it cheaper for the operator to have only one person rather than two on the tour (which I had paid for)? Why should I have to pay an extra $100 for just one person? That was a ripoff..

It was a well organized tour with a packed schedule of a great curation of activities to get a glimpse of the beauty of Brazil. All those involved in the trip were very communicative and professional and knowledgeable about the location and the activities. The only downside of the trip was that each location has so much to see and not enough time to see it all.

This tour is perfect for anyone who likes independent travel. All of our transportation, accommodation and airport pickup was organized, on time and taken care of. We had a boat and jungle-jeep tour in Paraty, both were great. Ilha Grande was probably the highlight of the trip, beaches galore. Local 55 was always available via WhatsApp message if you need anything. I would recommend them to anyone who wants an independent tour. No guide is included on this tour, just your transportation, excursions and accommodation.

Disorganised and chaotic

The Brazilian Carnival is an experience like no other! The vibrant colors, infectious samba rhythms, and joyous atmosphere make it a must-see event. From the spectacular parades in Rio de Janeiro to the street parties in Salvador, every moment was filled with excitement and energy. The costumes were dazzling, and the sense of community and celebration was truly uplifting. If you’re looking to immerse yourself in Brazilian culture and have an unforgettable adventure, the Carnival is the perfect choice.

Guillame and Talus were both both excellent guides, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and open to exchanging stories. Both have good English with Talus's being excellent. The refugios leave something to be desired. The buildings are kept basically clean but are damp. The mattresses were saggy and I suspect the bites we had were bed bugs. We realise, that this is not something that Nattrip is directly responsible for but perhaps sleeping maps would be better and the mattresses removed. The walk was wonderful none the less due to the spectacular environment and guides and is recommended to those happy to have a little discomfort to experience this wonderful landscape.

Both Thallis and Guilherme were absolutely amazing. From the first moment to the very last one I felt like I have now friends for life. They took such good care of me on the other hand giving me the much needed space as I booked the tour alone and wanted this as a meditation adventure.
