Dear Diane, Thanks for leaving a review and sharing your experience with us;) We really appreciate your feedback about the tour guide. I will talk to our local team and find more details about this. Can you let me know the hotel that you mentioned? We only use 3 star hotels with good conditions for all of our tours. It's absolutely unacceptable to have a 2 star hotel on the tour. According to our itinerary, the last day has no itinerary scheduled and it's when our guests get to the airport to board the return flights. I checked the itinerary and the group was taken from Okayama to Hiroshima on Day 9. According to google map, the bus ride is around two hours, which is a quite reasonable duration. Is it possible that you were referring to a different day on the itinerary? Please let me know so we can look into it. In Japan there are very strict regulations on the duration a bus driver can work every day and even the bus schedule is fixed according to the tour itinerary. Thanks for the suggestion for the last part of the itinerary;) The 9D Splendid Japan Tour has one free day in Tokyo with no activity scheduled because it's designed for guests who wish to visit Disneyland or other places on their own. We do have the 8D Splendid Japan Tour which has no free in Tokyo for guests who want a short tour and it's the same itinerary. Thanks again for the review and have a wonderful holiday season!!

Dear Wendy, Thanks a lot for your valuable feedback! Based on your review and a few other feedback from the same group, we have terminated the contract with this tour guide. The behavior you described is unacceptable and against our company policy and principle. A tour guide should be professional and friendly and readily available when help is needed. And this tour guide doesn't have these characters. Regarding your remarks on the Tokyo hotel: Tokyo is a very large city and it's not possible to book a hotel close to everywhere. The hotel we booked for this tour is Far East Village Hotel Tokyo, Asakusa. I just checked on the map and it's only 1500 ft to the famous Sensoji Temple, which is merely 5 minutes by walk. As I mentioned before, Tokyo is such a large city and it's sometimes inevitable to spend quite some time going between different places. Our local team know the importance of hotels, especially the location in large cities like Tokyo so we make every effort to pick the best hotel we can for the convenience of our guests. This hotel Far East Village Hotel Tokyo, Asakusa is picked because of its great reviews and good locations. It's within walk distance to the famous Senso-ji temple and Tokyo National Museum.
