- Pam· June 11th, 2023We thoroughly enjoyed our Legend Tour Group tour in Vietnam. Help was always available if required and all emails and questions were answered promptly. Mr Danny in Hanoi was extremely helpful and went the extra yards to ensure all went well and organised an upgrade on our Halong Bay cruise. All transport for day trips etc were on time and guides spoke good English. A couple of suggestions from our group of six that may improve future tours included: - A day trip to Ninh Binh could be included in the tour (perhaps as a suggested extra) as this is really a wonderful tour. - The overnight stay at Ba Khan Village Resort could be extended to 2 nights as it was so beautiful and restful. - The overnight at Halong Bay could also be extended to 2 nights as this was a highlight of the trip and time on board was too short. - An option could be given to fly to Hoi An (on the afternoon returning from Halong Bay) at an extra cost instead of the train journey. The younger travellers may enjoy the train trip but the older ones did not. (Besides the fact that families in our carriage were very noisy most of the night and we had very little sleep, it meant that an afternoon in Hoi An was wasted as we were too tired to do anything). - More time could be given to a stay in Hoi An. Because we were so tired and there was a heatwave, we hardly go to see any of Hoi An and the walking tour was exhausting. - We chose to stay in Saigon an extra night but this was not necessary as there wasn't much to do in the city. We wished we could have stayed at Hoi An an extra night or two instead.
