  The bus I was assigned to broke down and therefore I was reassigned to another bus and tour guide. She was very knowledgeable - that was not the issue. The bus breaking down was not a problem either. However, I am disabled and have mobility issues (specifically, as of late I'm still recovering from right knee surgery). I took all the measures I could before traveling to Greece. I packed necessary pain medication, ice packs, took and used my cane daily during the tour and even got a steroid shot 10 days before travel to mitigate any issues. But the tour guide had an issue with me sitting in the front seat (behind the driver) during the week-long tour -- which in my experience is designated for people with disabilities anyway. I live in the United States, have a disabled placard and documentation with me should she had requested to see sit after I explained sitting there allowed me to travel more comfortably and rest/stretch my leg in between stops. Moreover, I sat there for several reasons: 1) My siblings and I were the last to be dropped off at hotels and therefore, the first to be picked up in the morning; 2) Sitting there allowed me to stretch my leg comfortably which helped improve circulation before/after walking on uneven pavement for hours a day and 3) I was not bothering anyone -- not the bus driver in front of me or her next to me. Well, she felt inclined to reassign me (she said she wanted passengers to take turns sitting there) and I had to sit on the very last row of the bus -- which caused me a lot of discomfort and pain. I think other passengers must have expressed concern for my wellbeing (after seeing me hobble to the back of the bus) because she then said, "You can sit in front of the bus to stretch your leg". Well, too little too late! I took pain medication to ease my severe discomfort which made me drowsy and sleepy for what was left of the tour. I travel internationally every year -- and sadly was VERY disappointed with Tour Radar. My brother suggested we try Tour Radar this time around. But I should have insisted on going with Go Ahead Tours to visit Greece. We have traveled with Go Ahead Tours in the past, a total of 7 times -- and they know how to treat their customers. She was knowledge in Greek history for sure -- but impolite. Please note, other passengers expressed the same sentiment to me during the tour.

  Our guide Maria was great. She is like a walking historian and she’s very kind and knowledgeable. Our driver was fantastic. He handled the bus like a pro. All of the stops were appropriate. The hotels that my group had were all four stars and very nice but we had a little time to enjoy it because we always arrived late in the evening. I wish we had more time to enjoy it. Overall, all of the sites were amazing but it was quite rushed and we spent a lot of time on the bus. I wish that we had more time to spend in Athens since it is the capital but the way the trip was planned, it only allowed for the afternoon of the first day. We would’ve preferred a slightly slower pace so possibly possibly 8 days works works better.

  Travel to/from Athens + link taxi were great. The tour itself was good but demanding - about 12 hours each day, either visiting a venue of travelling (not a little of which had to be in evening darkness at this time of year). Tour guide had truly encyclopaedic knowledge of each of the sites visited.

  The travel agent, Fez Travel, provided excellent service of coordinating our trip, such as airport pick up/drop off, itinerary documentation, etc.. However, the tour guide of the tour company, GoTours, provided very poor services. She walked and talked on her own without care about the group (40+ people). She lost 10 people at one time. I felt humiliated by her while she needed to count people. She would ask us to line up 2x2 for her to count us. Her speech tone is flat. We barely understand about 1/3 of her talk. She gave confusing instructions on dinner time and the next day breakfast and gathering time. Everyone asked her to repeat. She always be the first one walk away from the bus at every stop. She never greet nor voluntarily communicate with people. It was confusing at one of the lunch restaurant (lunch is a not included in the tour). The restaurant setup like a buffet/canteen but no price shown. She did not explain nor advise us ahead. We asked the cashier. The cashier told us it charges 14 Euro per plate. Soup and salad are extra, no price. We were asked to get in line (the cashier was busy), and, we did know where was our tour guide. Later, we found our she was having her lunch in another room. We don't recommend this tour.

  We really enjoyed our 4 day tour. Our tour guide Thomas was very knowledgeable with Greek history. Our bus driver was very experienced also. The food was wonderful, hotels were exceptional. The one thing we were disappointed, we heard a lot about Greek mythology, being American Christians, we were hoping to hear more about Bible times.

  The guide was amazing!! The level of detail he shared with the group and his organisation at the locations was very good. Limitations on the lunches were frustrating - dropped at a remote location and expected to buy a meal there, the meal of the last day returning to Athens from Meteora was a rip-off!! Lunch at Olympia was amazing. Hotels were a terrific standard. There were 35 people on the bus, more than the 20 advertised.

  - the tour guides knowledge of history and dates was insanely good. - we had a late arrival due to flight delays and it was no trouble still being collected by the company with a friendly team. Unfortunately was not informed of cash money required on arrival for entry to historical sites and had poor exchange rate at airport. - poor communication from tour guide, including introduction of tour guide, group requirements, plan of day, lunch/dinner details, hotel drop offs/pickups, and the time it would take. When talking to the group would not wait for whole group to be in attendance and therefore multiple group members missed out on important info. Perhaps need for headsets for when in popular tourist spots. We did not have his contact details/knowledge of which hotel he was in, when injury in our group occurred with potential need for hospitalisation. - never enough toilets at any stop, especially with 4-5 buses also at any stop. - very clean and modern bus. Professional looking bus driver, however many group members felt unsafe with some of the reckless manoeuvres made at high speed, including holding mobile phone whilst at high speed overtaking on double lines up a windy hill - too much free time at stops with nothing to look at/explore/ no shops - pickup and drop off on first and last day in Athens very confusing and time wasting. Over two hours between pick-up and actually leaving Athens to depart, therefore no lunch until 3pm, no dinner until 9pm when breakfast was at 6am. - buffet style food for all meals which was all quite nice tasting, but always cold or warm, not hot enough for food hygiene standards.
