- GMGalina· January 2nd, 2024The tour was booked in early 2023, before the tragic events in Israel. On our request, the travel company (Bookingtours based in Israel) changed our itinerary to make it risk-free. Quite a complex itinerary (Jordan, a liitle bit of Israel and Egypt), including 3 flights and 2 land border-crossings, turned to be incredible. It all magically worked, and we had an unforgettable holiday.Show moreTrip date: December 2023
- OBOlivia· April 27th, 2023The trip was excellent. Pick up always on time. The tour guides were wonderful and very patient. All the flights and connections all worked out. We were able to see all the places listed in the itinerary. Mr. Ramadan in Egypt was excellent, he made sure everything was working out for us. He made sure we were comfortable. The whole trip was wonderful. We will use Tour Radar again and will not hesitate to recommend it to our family and friends.Show moreBooking Tours commented on this reviewThank you for sharing your positive experience with Booking Tours! - Charles· January 7th, 2023EXTREMELY poor communication and scheduling. We were not told that it is MANDATORY to have a cell phone for this tour. Otherwise, you cannot make connections at the airports, borders, or tour agents in Egypt. The only way to access the room in the Israel hotel was thru a cell phone app! Also, we were not told there was NO DEDICATED tour guide with us thru out the entire tour. Every day there was a different tour guide which you had to meet up with, often not knowing even what time he would meet you. The only breakfasts we got were on the cruise ship and the one day at the Wadi Rum camp, otherwise, every single day we got a very, very poor breakfast box. The scheduling was a nightmare. The breakfast at the Tel Aviv hotel started at 7:30 but the tours picked us up at 6:40 every morning. Why not put us in a hotel with an early breakfast? The transfer from Jordan to Egypt was awful. We got to the Jordan - Israel border around 6:00 pm. Then we went thru Eilat, then thru the Israel - Egypt border, then a 3 hour drive to the hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh. It was almost midnight before we got to our room and we had to get up at 4:00 for the flight to Cairo!! This should have been more specific in our itinerary. Also, NO ONE on the Nile cruise ship spoke good English, not even the ship front desk manager. Also, the ship had no knowledge of our tours or the tour guides each day. NO COMMUNICATION between the ship, the tour guides, and the tourists. I would not recommend this tour by Booking Tours to anyone. Tour radar is a good tour agent. They should not sell tours thru Booking Tours. This tour was misrepresented in every way. NO WAY is it a Luxury tour.Show moreTrip date: November 2022
- RRamero· October 27th, 2022i was so pleased with our 13 days luxury tour in Israel, Jordan and Egypt. Tour guide are amazing esp Karim when we where in Jordan. Also highly recommended Ramadan El Kalal in Egypt who did all the coordination from ensuring our flights to Aswan and Luxor would be an easy transition, Nile river cruise, transportations between transfers and tours as well tour guides daily. We appreciate you RamadanShow moreTrip date: October 2022
- RRamero· October 27th, 2022we did the 13 days luxury tour to Israel, Jordan and Egypt and it was an amazing and wonderful trip. i was very pleased with the hotel we stayed in esp the Brown Seaside in Tel Aviv. The breakfast is to die for and the staff are attentive esp Juan. I really enjoyed the tour guides esp Karim in Jordan who was so nice, friendly and very knowledgeable. His wife was kind enough to make us some Jordanian dessert, that was a plus. Especial shout out to Ramadan in Egypt who did all the tour coordination. He worked tirelessly to ensure that our flight from Cairo to Aswan, Luxor and our Nile River cruise will go smoothly…he ensured that we have someone to meet us from point A to point B. I highly recommended him i also recommend to pay the Israel, Jordan/Egypt tax and visa ahead of time through tour radar so your transfer will be hassle free($540 for my husband and i) suggesting to bring smaller bills for tip as it is expected for any assistance provided.Show moreTrip date: October 2022
- TGThemis Z.· October 25th, 2022An ABSOLUTE terrific company. Everything we worried about was solved without any hitches, We got picked up on time, dropped off in the right place, saw what they said we would see. I cannot stress enough what a fantastic company and tour this was. Three countries, all the visas organized and all the places were as indicated. I cannot wait to travel with them again.Show moreTrip date: September 2022
- JUJanet· June 11th, 2022The tour could have been much more successful if the communication was ahead of time, faster, and more detailed. Tourradar has a tel # which is useless as they do not have the answer to the questions. The only way of communication is through messages that take for ever to answer, sometimes overnight. The local representatives at Jordan, Mr Zid and at Mr Mohamed were excellent! as well as the daily tourist guides in Israel. However, we were stressed about the following issues: 1. Tourradar did not gave us the itinerary or the name of the hotels until the last minute and when it was urgently requested out of desperation of not knowing where we were going to stay. I had to keep sending messages asking for the information that it was needed. 2 Tourradar Failed to let us know that we had to paid $530.00 at the Jordan border for visas and taxes, so it was very confusing having to come up with that amount of money that they wanted in cash. 3 When we were leaving Jordan the immigration officers who did not speak enough English kept asking for "taxes" ($530.00) we paid at the border in Jordan the day before. I had to call Mr Zid and he was able to explain them that we already paid and that we only spent one day in Jordan even though we have the receipts. 4 When we arrived to Egypt, we pass immigration, and we found ourselves in the middle of no where with no name for the tourist guide or the hotel name and address where we were going. When finally a driver show up (after over an hour of stress and uncertainty) asking for "2 Americans" he did not have our names nor the name of the hotel where we will stay. In addition, he did not speak English. We were lucky that Mr Zid from Jordan helped us talk to Mr Mohamed in Egypt to get the name of the Hotel. 5 For the future, Americans, need more information in writing before the tour not while it is happening as we need to plan and we need to know where we are going to stay. On the other hand, the hotel choice were good choices and the local tour guides did the extra mile with their personal attention for example: Mr Zid met us at the border and spoke to the immigration people and he help us find our hotel in Egypt or when Mr Mohamed met us and help us find a luggage with a great price as well as being understanding when we ask for a different tourist guide in Cairo. The transportation was also private and comfortable.Show moreTrip date: May 2022
- Mark· May 30th, 2022Overall, the tour of Israel, Jordan and Egypt was enjoyable. There were a few problems. When we first arrived in Tel-Aviv, we were taken to the Arkon Hotel that claimed that they were not informed in time that we needed 2 beds, and they offered a room with a double bed and what seemed to be a cot. It was a very small room, and no room to move around with that bed arrangement. In addition, the elevator was out of order and we had to walk upstairs and carry our luggage. We complained to Booking Tours and were sent to the Savoy, after about an hour wait. This was a much nicer hotel in a nicer area near the beach, but after a long plane ride from Los Angeles, we should not have had to deal with this mix-up. Another problem was what I consider poor scheduling. On day 7 after the Wadi Run Jeep Tour, we were scheduled to transfer to Aqaba and cross to the Taba border by boat. The jeep tour ended about noon, and we told our tour guide that we were to cross the border by boat; he did not seem to know about this. He called the tour company, and was told that we were to be picked up at 6pm. He didn't know what to do with us from noon to six pm, so he arranged for us to stay in a restaurant all afternoon until pick-up. By the time we got picked up, traveled to the boat, took the late night boat trip and were picked up on the Egypt side (the driver was late, and we just stood around waiting as no one could tell us where we should wait, and for how long) and traveled to our hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh, it was well after midnight. The pick-up at the hotel was at 3:30pm. Thus began Day 8. We checked into the hotel for only a few hours - with no time to sleep. The itinerary said "breakfast at the hotel" which turned out to be a bag of rolls handed to us as we got into the car that picked us up at 3:30 in the morning. The flight to Cairo departed at 6:00 am and arrived at 7:00 pm. We were picked up and taken to our hotel, arriving about 8:00 am. Remember, we have had no sleep! The itinerary says that we would check into the hotel for a "refresh," but the room was not ready. So, we began our tour, without a "refresh," at 8:30 am to the Gaza Plateau, but with no sleep or a "refresh," we were exhausted and could not really stay awake to enjoy the day's events. We were looking forward to seeing the Pyramids, but we just could not appreciate them. This is poor planning! If we could have taken an afternoon boat ride, we could have gotten to the hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh at a reasonable hour instead of sitting in a restaurant all afternoon. This spoiled the next several days for us, as we were tired for days afterward! If I knew that this would be the schedule, I never would have gone on the trip. The itinerary does not show this!Show moreTrip date: May 2022
- MMMartha· April 8th, 2022After 2 years of waiting to take this trip due to Covid traveling restrictions, and no option of reimbursement I must say that the locations are worth visiting but the way it was managed was extremely stressful. We arrived to Israel with an itinerary that basically listed the drivers that would pick us at the various airports, a brief description of the places we would visit each day, no vouchers, no airline tickets. In Tel Aviv, we did not know how to call him since we did not know we had to have international call service. We asked another taxi driver to call him for us and our driver had not been informed that we were arriving. The next couple of days were overall on schedule and good with the various tours in Israel . Then we flew to Eilat where we crossed the border to Jordan on foot but there was nobody guiding us and must admit a little intimidating. A guide did help us at the Jordanian border and then went on to Petra for the day, which was wonderful. We were then taken to Wadi Rum which for the night which was a neat experience but the Jeep Ride that is included in the package was without a guide and a driver that did not speak a word of English. We were then taken back to the Jordanian/Israel border where the major problems began. Israel required us to do the PCR again, even though we were going to leave the same day to Egypt. The Israel/Egypt border crossing is about a 10 minute drive. from the Jordan/Israel border. We paid for PCR again but once we got to the Israel /Egypt border, Israel authorities refused to let us leave until we quarantined for 24 hrs even though Egypt did not require a PCR test to get into it. We were treated as if were criminals and were even threatened that if we did not leave they would call the police on us. This meant missing our flight from Sharm El Sheik to Cairo the next morning. By the next morning, no more then 12 hrs Israel cleared us to leave Israel without or PCR results but by that time we had lost our flight. The solution to the problem was the 3rd party touring company hired either by TourRadar or BookingTours to do the Egypt tours found us a driver to take us to Cairo, a 10 hour drive through pure desert. We were never given options to take another flight. In fact the communication was so poor that we had to depend on text messages wherever we could get wi-fi which there was none in the desert and we did not know who we were dealing with. It was a scary ordeal since our driver did not speak a word of English and we did not know who to call or what to do in case of an emergency. We finally got to Cairo late at night, had only a couple of hours to see the Pyramids of Giza the next morning and then another flight to Aswan which was already off the schedule given to us. At the airport Egyptair would not let us fly until we paid a fine for missing the flight the day before. Once again we did not know who to contact about all these inconveniences especially since the airports in Egypt do not provide wi-fi. We paid the fine and got to Aswan where a wonderful tour guide picked us up and took us to what was suppose to be a 5* Nile River cruise. The cruise ship was at best a 3* old ship. However, by this point I was just glad to relax and the cruise itself was nice. The Temples are spectacular and our tour guide throughout the cruise was the best. My biggest complaint about this trip is the lack of communication even from the beginning, no vouchers, no tickets provided to us. I thought we were dealing with just one company and we actually dealt with multiple people telling us what to do next, primarily drivers that did not speak English and our cell phones whenever we could get wi-fi. The tour schedule especially in Egypt was totally off and I actually had to fight to get the touring company to take me to the places the itinerary said we were suppose to be taken to.Show moreBooking Tours commented on this reviewHi Martha, we are always happy to hear feedback. - DTDonald· December 21st, 2021We didn’t like that we didn’t have a guide for 3 or 4 days in Jordan. Our driver was a good driver, but he didn’t speak English well and we had a difficult time figuring out covid protocols. I think if we were in a tour of 20 you wouldn’t have left us alone. We would not recommend tour radar. Also my booking says I have $530 USD in credit. How do I use that?Show moreBooking Tours commented on this reviewDear Donald , your tour was customized, you spent in Jordan more days instead of visiting Israel, and an itinerary of all changes was sent to your confirmation, guide is not included in the free days in a hotel, like the Dead Sea, that you spent 2...
