  Joao was an excellent guide who made sure that all our requests were granted to the best of his ability. He went out of his way to do this. He was thorough, amusing, sociable, informative and developed a very good relationship with each member of the group. He joined in everything and showed enthusiasm for things which he has no doubt done dozens of times. He ensured that the itinerary was full, diverse and was willing to drive great distances which he did very safely and with skill. It was an excellent itinerary with a real chance to experience authentic Portuguese cuisine and culture. It is tailor-made for the older generation in my opinion and I think should be marketed as such. However, one must have the capacity to cope with very long days and relatively little time at the hotels. My only very minor criticism is that it would be good to finish each day by 7pm at the latest and give people a chance to have some free time to go out and dine at leisure. But well done Joao and well dome all those who have organised such an excellent tour I shall recommend it others without reservation.

  João was fantastic. He was excellent in his knowledge of Portugal. Every day he arrived on time, was eager to show us many sites well known and the hidden treasures in Porto North. The days were packed with adventures and great surprises. He has a tremendous passion for Portugal and is dedicated to helping others feel so too. We were extremely happy with the tour and highly recommend booking with João as a tour guide. It was an amazing experience- and we loved meeting such wonderful people who were in our group.   Had an awesome time doing the “North South tour!! Our guide Sandro made the trip, he was really knowledgeable and new all the locals - because he is one himself! Will definitively be back!

  4GTS Provided an amazing Regional tour of the north of Portugal. This tour is unlike a normal tour of a country but more of a local friend showing you around their local villages and gems of the region. Great value for money for the quality and quantity of activities and dinners on the tour. Would like to explore more of Portugal with 4GTS in the future. A++++++++

  A fantastic tour trough out my own country, seen a lot and eated a lot of new local and special dishes! Luke was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable even that Portugal is not his home country, he talks about it as it was from there tho! Would recommend 4GTS to anyone that wants to experience Portugal in the best way possible! On to the next adventure... thank you 4GTS
