- AMAvril· December 27th, 2019Our overall experience was very positive, with our driver NOUFEL being very helpful indeed. With one exception our hotels were of a very good standard, the exception being the Hotel Las Palmas near Munnar. This hotel is situated 6.5kms from Munnar town, and in our opinion is too far out of the way of the main tour route. The manager Mr Sijo and his staff were very friendly and helpful, he went out of his way to procure some flowers and a cake for the occasion of our 40th wedding anniversary. But they are hampered by a premises crying out for investment in improvements to the exterior and upgrades to room facilities. The other SEALORD group hotel we stayed in, the Silver Crest at Periyar was also in need of improvement. The itinerary seriously underestimates the time taken to drive from one place to another, in our experience it took around 50% longer than stated . We arranged before the tour started to spend some time in Fort Kochi, and at the end of the tour we booked an extra two nights at the Hotel Abad Plaza in Cochin, and a very glad we did, as to get off the flight fro Cyprus and commence a tour immediately would have been too tiring. Overall we felt that the tour represented good value for money, and would use Tour Radar in the future when considering our holiday planning. - KEKym· September 23rd, 2019Kerala is beautiful, very scenic and the people are generally very friendly. Other than in Cochin we really didn’t have a guide, just a driver. Our driver changed during the tour, in all we had three drivers. None of the drivers were very informative about what we were doing or gave us information about the sights. The itinerary varied considerably from the one we were given prior to the trip, although most of the major sites were visited, but not necessarily on the day specified. The highlight of the trip was the house boat on the backwaters. This was fabulous as was the food provided.
