- LSLynne· October 28th, 2024Our guides, Nasser and Omar were great! Unfortunately, we paid $45 each for 3 tickets to the Civilization Museum in Cairo, thinking that was the Tut museum. It was not, it was an extra museum. We were very tired and asked if we could cancel the extra museum. First I was told we were outside of our cancellation time, so no refund. Then I was told that we Could get a refund. Nasser had the cash in his pocket to pay for our tickets. He has said he turned my refund request over to Tour Radar. I never heard back from anyone. Most of the museums were $8 to $12. We were charged $45 per ticket and I am still waiting for a response from anyone.Show more

They have the best guides (Nasser in Cairo and Omar for the Nile Cruise) and drivers (Yousri) that will keep you very well informed and safe. - MGMichele· September 16th, 2024Great tour, but be prepared for a busy schedule and two very early starts. Highlight of the trip were many but loved cruising down the Nile watching the locals go about their daily life. Communication could have been improved at times, ie the last day in Aswan I would have liked to been offered some choices to do other things than to sit around the boat waiting for departure, I would have liked to have gone on a flecucca for one hour, also not sure why we could not have caught the earlier flight back to Cairo, on the last day instead of spending hours at the airport. I also had an issue with not being allowed to stop and go shopping at places along the way, guides seem to only want to take us to their friends shops and I missed out on buying things in the moment. A small amount of time say 10 mins should be factored into each stop to allow to buy from the vendors at the different sites. At times the tour felt very rushed, the only relaxing time was on the boat which was really enjoyable and the food was excellent. Wonderful hotel in Cairo with a buffet that was out of this world! the river cruise was incredible as well.
