This tour was very well organized. The guides were very experienced. They took very good care of us at all times. They provided snacks and water on every day. This was important since the weather was very hot. They also attended to any of our needs outside of the direct tour requirements. They also watched over us when we were surrounded by people. We were very well guided and protected on this trip. I have recommended this trip to many of my cycling friends.

10-11 Jan, Delhi: arrival went smoothly. Hotel was fine. Driver, Rakesh, was excellent. 12-13 Jan, Udaipur: Met driver Vijay and guide Sharma (who have been excellent); Hotel was nice. Restaurant the first night was really good, both food an entertainment. Nice bike ride. Enjoyed the tour of City Palace. 14 Jan, good ride to Kumbhalgarh with nice lunch at Lake Alpi Restaurant. Beautiful hotel, great tour of Fort with Vijay, special because he timed it so we’d be there for sunset. 15 Jan., best ride yet: uphill not too bad but downhill past Saira was fantastic. Chaumukha Mandir was wonderful. 16 Jan: The first part of the ride was on very bumpy roads with lots of traffic and not very interesting scenery. I’d recommend driving approximately the first 30-40 kms and then biking the rest. Hotel Korla Escape was fabulous. 17 Jan: Nice ride. Really good hotel with lots of character, and good food. 18-19 Jan: Fantastic hotel in Jodhpur – beautiful, great location in the old town, excellent food, wonderful view from the restaurant. 20-21 Jan: ride was good. Modern hotel in Jaipur, comfortable with good food, Also a location in the Old Town (as in Jodhpur) would have been preferable. Food was fine. 22-23 Jan,: Ride was very good, one of the most beautiful and interesting, nice quiet roads. Tiger Moon Resort was very peaceful and the food was good. The morning safari (zone 3) was very interesting with lots of birds and deer, but unfortunately no tigers. Luckier in the afternoon (zone 2) -- saw 2 tigers. Close enough to get good photos with telephoto lens. 24-25 Jan: Another good ride through nice farmland and interesting villages. Stopped at FatehpurSikri at my request (remembering it as a peaceful, atmospheric place), but it has changed and is anything but peaceful. We thought the stop wasn’t worth it. In Agra, the hotel was comfortable and a good location with decent food. Great to visit the TajMahal in the early morning (although we were unlucky with the fog). Good visit to Agra Fort too. Nice to meet “the boss” back in Delhi (and thanks for the beers!). All in all: fantastic trip.

What a ride!! I have wanted to see the Taj Mahal for 50 years and thought a cycling tour would be the way. The trip more than lives up to expectations. Vijay, our driver was extremely helpful with a commentary on Indian politics, taking laundry to save us money. We stopped every hour or so when cycling to have a snack, choices of mandarin, banana, biscuit, juice or water. We had some lunches at restaurants and others in the home grounds of locals, having brought it from our hotel. The accommodation and food was fab, with comfortable king beds almost everywhere, no one got Delhi belly. The people were so friendly, forts were awesome and not too many temples. We saw a tiger at Ranthambore and there was no queue for the Taj that was in beautiful sunshine.

We did cycling in Rajastan in October 2018 for 16 days and then went south to Kerala for sightseeing and leisure. Total trip was 21 days. Everything was organized as promised, the bikes were good quality and well-maintained, the hotels were of high standard and the food was good. We were lucky to see Tiger during our visit to Ranthambore NP, one of the many highlights from this trip. Special shout out and our words of gratitude go to the organizer Sabir, to the guide Sharma and to the driver Vijay. They gave us warm welcome and shared their love of India and cycling with great spirit and warmth. They have excellent knowledge of the region, good local contacts and chose cycling route that allowed us to see and visit small villages that otherwise we would unlikely see.
