Back in 1989, two guys from Melbourne, Australia by the names of Darrell and Manch set off on an adventure to the other side of the world. They travelled to Africa and without air conditioning on their modified truck, they filled it with supplies, some beer, a bunch of aviator sunglasses, and...

- AMarie C· September 18th, 2019The trip was varied and show me different sides of north India. there was big and small cities, different activities with animals, some more active and more layback activities, meals at local people, hopping opportunities, etc. The big plus was also my very kind and knowledgeable tour leaders! They were very interesting as they knew a lot about the places we visited and the India history/cultures/traditions in general. They were kind and you could see that they wanted us to feel great and comfortable, and always had a positive attitude! It was my first experience with Intrepid and will probably not the last.Show moreTrip date: February 2019
- AEgan L· September 18th, 2019This trip was very interesting and enjoyable and as with all of my Intrepid trips it was a great mix of activities and sights. The tour leader Akanksha, was fabulous as were my fellow travellers!Trip date: February 2019
- AStewart &· September 18th, 2019This tour was more than a holiday. It was incredibly well organised such that we saw all the major sites across the trip locations. But more than that, it immersed us in Indian culture in a safe and accessible way. Our guide, Danesh, really added tremendous value to the tour.Show moreTrip date: December 2018

- AChris H· September 18th, 2019Because we had a great time and our guide Dinesh made the whole trip so much more than just visiting one location after another. The fact that transport was arranged removed all the stress from travelling around and having a local guide gave us a real insight to how the locals live.Show moreTrip date: December 2018

- KSKOK· March 25th, 2019The tour is well organised, and has enough free time to explore individual interests. The guide is friendly and approachable. India is simply awesome. Will be returning.Trip date: February 2019
- Allie· April 9th, 2016I took the Rajasthan Adventure in February 2016 with Intrepid and it was great! It was my first tour after having traveled extensively as a solo female travel, however I didn't want to tackle India on my own. The tour was well encompassed and the guide was professional but funny and chill. The accommodation was good, with only a few problems with spotty hot water and wifi, but several places were amazingly unique and really made the experience special. I enjoyed each destination, and felt the timing was spread out well. I wish we could've had one more day in Jaisalmer and felt one less day at Jaipur would have been better. The ONLY disappointment was the camel safari. We rode camels out through more of a dry field (with power lines and bushes) instead of a dessert. I was expecting sand dunes, which we rode to but disembarked the camels as soon as we got to the edge of the dunes. But once there, the experience was great. Our overnight train was canceled due to protests, so we had to take a personal van. I HIGHLY recommend this tour. Intrepid has great tour leaders! I'm already looking forward to my next adventure with Intrepid!Show moreTrip date: February 2016
- Kate· April 3rd, 2013I thoroughly enjoyed my tour and all the places we visited, with a huge thanks to Gajraj, our tour leader. His sense of humour and cheeky nature made the trip even more special - he is a true asset to your company. Everything ran to schedule and I can't wait to visit South India in the near future. The train trip between Delhi and Agra is brilliant and very quick compared to travelling via road. The buses between cities from Agra to Bikaner were a bit much - one or two are a good experience but more than that and you're not looking forward to the next days journey. We used the train between Bikaner and Jaisalmer which was a true local and cultural experience, the six hour journey was enough though don't think I could have handled much longer. Camping under the stars on the Camel safari was awesome and the food provided was delicious. I also really enjoyed Osian, the camping was way better than expected and the town is lovely to wander around. Staying in the Havelis throughout the trip was a highlight and very unique. The Nachana Haveli in Jaisalmer were kind enough to organise a private Holi festival in the courtyard so we could have a safe and enjoyable experience. This was my first trip with Intrepid, and I would hesitate to recommend or use your products again.Show moreTrip date: March 2013
