- KMKeith· March 29th, 2024Overall the tour was great, in no small measure to Siri, the guide/driver we had. He was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the sites we visited and was happy to adjust the sequence of the tour where that was feasible ie apart from pre-booked hotels etc. to take into account our personal preferences. The tour fitted in a lot of towns and areas but I think the last day was too rushed. It would have been better to organise to have the last (or penultimate) night in Galle which has a lot to see.Show moreTrip date: March 2024
Kerry· February 4th, 2023Our chief complaint is regarding the 1st hotel we stayed at Palm Garden Village in Anuradhapura. The hotel was substandard in many ways. We had no water for several hours. The pool was unusable. The staff appeared to be untrained & the hotel is still under construction. TV & WiFi did not work as well. The only saving grace was that are 2 meals there were good. The hotel seemed like a 2 star one compared to all our other hotels, which were excellent. Our guide was very nice & very helpful. A couple stops on our tour were clearly sales stops. The first was a stop at a woodworking store on day 2. There was a small demo & then we were escorted through the store to look at merchandise. Our stop at a spice venue on day 3 was far worse as the so-called guide clearly was trying to sell us holistic health products derived from plants. We were only interested in seeing cooking spices in their natural state. We thought Sri Lanka was great, although some of the venues (Sigiriya, Yala National Park) were overpriced for tourists.Show moreTrip date: January 2023- NNicola· January 31st, 2023We have been blown away by Sri Lanka. The tour was a fabulous mix of history and nature. Our tour guide, Hermal was amazing, the best guide we have ever had. Excellent organisation…went like clockwork.

Sama arranged everything for me and ensure that everything was spot on, he arranged lovely hotels and the car i traveled in was luxurious. Namal my tour leader was amazing, knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful.
