Wayne· July 15th, 2024Again, as on our previous cruise the week before, reality fell far short of advertising and the expectations created. This was advertised as language: English German. In fact, on many occasions during the cruise there was little or no English translation. In some ports Maps were available in German but not English. The cruise was in France, but it was German food. These things should have been made clear in advertising. This cruise was down the Seine in Normandy. The boat only went as far as Caudebec (an hours drive to the coast), and gave no excursions or even opportunity to visit the Normandy Beaches at the time of the 80th anniversary of D Day landings.Show more
