Trip date: September 2024- TTTatiana· October 16th, 2024Overall it was great to explore the differences between Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Phuket. The accommodations were okay and airlines were okay. I appreciated the communication we had with our agent Thang! He helped us find a different hotel after our accommodation was surrounded by flooding. Wish there were more activities and meals scheduled and preplanned. - WCwileidy· July 29th, 2024Working with Lucy from Realistic Asia was a dream. She is extremely knowledgeable about her product, and very accommodating, when situations arise. During our trip we had several employees of the company interact with us, and every single one of them was a delight to work with. From MM in Bangkok (took us to the floating market Damnoen Saduak to all the temples in Bangkok, danced salsa music with this group of Puerto Ricans, and sang Despacito by Luis Fonsi for us, during the impromptu karaoke onboard our luxurious tour bus. We enjoyed every single one of our hotel stays, but the hotel De Charme Chiang Mai was ASTOUNDING!!!! Their design and hotel layout, to the ir salted water pool in the middle of the city were very unexpected treats after the humid and hot days we experienced. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!! Every property was near Night Markets, or very close to the train stations or BTS in the city, or in a walking neighborhood full of bars, restaurants and another night market in Kata, Phuket. My business is to take groups to different destinations in Asia, and around the world, and when it comes to bringing groups to different destinations in Asia i will always reach out to RA first, to see their offerings or if they can customize a tour for my groups needs, and desires. We were disappointed that one of the excursions on the original itinerary was not on the final one, nor was it replaced with another, but we did manage to fill up all of the days with activities. Drivers helpful and vans really comfortable. The flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai included a complete meal, even it was just of 1:30hrs, I had never seen that before. The hotels were really nice. Additionally, someone was checking on us via WhatsApp to make sure everything was ok, and to remind us the next day's pick up times. Long Pham was super responsive throughout the planning stage - answering questions, shaping options, and nailing down details. She was proactive during the trip, checking in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed at each stop. Bangkok-Chiang Mai-Phuket was a perfect survey tour, and we appreciated the foundation of programming in Bangkok and Chiang Mai with just the right amount of free time in each location for us to improvise with our own opportunistic programming, wandering, or just chilling out, Hotels were comfy and convenient, if somewhat varied in amenities. Long Pham offered alternatives in each location, and advance online research permitted some specificity. We loved the outsized breakfast spreads that were included at each hotel. Guides were enthusiastic, courteous, knowledgeable, and personable - all while being perceptive to when we needed time and space to ourselves.
