- MMelanieVotaw· June 26th, 2023This tour was a grave disappointment. Some of the hotels that were purportedly 4-star were terrible. One of them didn't even have hot water in the morning (because, apparently, they were at capacity). Another's towels were ALL unraveling all around them - not just a couple of threads, but many hanging on all sides. The places we were taken to eat every day were just plain bad. We had few choices at the restaurants, and everyone in our group got tired of eating bland chicken couscous. All breakfasts and dinners were hotel buffets, and most of those were also mediocre at best. Our guide walked us so fast through the souks that I still don't feel I've ever seen them. The itinerary said we'd visit Ait Benhaddou, but we were only given a far-off view of it in the distance from the highway. Yet, we stopped for a 45-minute high-speed walk through a palm tree grove after having seen literally millions of palm trees on the road. And, of course, there were always hours available to sit in stores that the guide or company received kickbacks from. Some days, we spent 9 hours driving. I understand the distances, but it was a very poorly organized tour. We felt utterly cheated.Show more
