View in EnglishOur travel experience with Wingbuddy We purchased an eight-day "Exploration of Iceland" travel package with Wingbuddy. Following a number of changes, we were faced with 1. additional costs for accommodation, cabs and meals in Toronto on the outward and return trips, 2. a missed flight connection resulting in the loss of one day's package (out of the eight days planned), 3. a 24-hour wait at the Toronto airport, and 4. the loss of a working day upon return from the trip, we decide not to undertake the trip, as the modified package no longer corresponds to the initial package advertised and purchased from Wingbuddy. It was then impossible to reach anyone at the agency: the company did not provide any numbers or emails for its agents. We call the emergency number: a recorded message informs us that the office is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. How convenient! The day after the scheduled departure, no call from Wingbuddy. A simple e-mail informs us that the agency will not be issuing any credits or refunds. After consulting with the Office de la protection du consommateur, it seems that the only solution, should we be unable to reach a settlement with Wingbuddy, is to go to Small Claims Court to obtain some form of compensation.Show moreTrip date: September 2022
