Saundra· March 12th, 2025Very active adventure. It was good to start with Vietnam, Cambodia and end in Phuket. In Phuket there was a bit of downtime. We added the Elephant Sanctuary and Phi Phi Island. Also staying a extra night in Phuket was lovely before our long flight back to the USA. The majority of our tours were private - a wonderful surprise. Also, not being in a set group with one tour guide allowed us free time to experience each location on our terms. Dat and everyone on the Tourradar team went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests - extra days, hotel upgrades. I will most definitely travel with Tourradar again. Two thoughts ... I would not consider the hotel in Phuket a 4-Star hotel - while the staff was super thoughtful and accommodating, there were no additional services (spa, etc.), and our room was very damp and musty. They did try to fix it - worked temporarily. The Concierge was apologetic. My second thought would be to include more cultural activities (a meal with a family or staying in a small traditional village vs touristy excursions (bamboo boat, floating market). Trip date: November 2024 - AJAnthony· November 8th, 2024My wife and I have just returned from our 18 day holiday to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. It was truly a holiday of a lifetime. I’d like to say a huge thank you to Tour Radar and Prestigo Asia for helping to make this happen. Every aspect of the holiday was flawless and smooth. All the pickups were on time, all the guides were brilliant and the organised trips and tours were the very best. We opted for the five star accommodation and we were so glad we did. Every hotel was truly brilliant and well worth the money. Even when I had a minor problem downloading a flight check-in card, Tour Radar handled everything brilliantly. The hotels were comfortable and we found it easy to reach the nearby places. We were informed of the time to pick up and other details then followed without worry. Dat was also responsive when we encountered trouble with the room in Siem Reap. Since he answered right away, he was helpful to our trip. It's the best thing you need when traveling to new countries. - Francesca· March 27th, 2024Important things to note!!! Overall the tour was nice. The activities were all very nice and the transfers were easy. There are some things to note, if you are going to upgrade to 5 star accommodations. The cruise in Halong Bay (Dora Cruise), while nice was definitely not 5 star. Also the hotel in Saigon (Rex) while very nice, is very old and outdated. The wing of the hotel I was in was very old and very dirty on the outside. The room was very outdated and dark with no balcony. The remainder of the accommodations were very nice. The other biggest thing to note is the "bus" between Phnom Penh and Siem Riep. This is basically a city transfer bus and not a tour/coach bus and it is a 6 hour drive! I did complain and the tour operator had me removed from the bus and arranged for a van to pick me up and drive me, which was nice, but had I known, I would have arranged this ahead of time. Another important things to note is that on all the transfer days between cities/countries, the pick up time was around 1 pm. I thought this was good because I had the morning but I ended up not getting to my destination hotel until 7 pm or later. I would have preferred to leave earlier to arrive in the destination in time to get settled and have a nice dinner. I was travelling solo and no one else picked the same start date as me so I was basically on the tour alone. There were a few days that I was with other groups but mostly I had private tours. As a solo female, I sometimes found this nice and sometimes wished there were other people around. I have traveled solo before but on small group tours and it is nice to meet and get to know people over the tour. That being said, having private tours was nice because I got to do more and see everything I personally wanted to see/do. - Margaret· March 5th, 2024Parts of the tour were a 5 and parts were a 3. I thought that I was signing up for an 18 day tour in a group of 15, but that was not the case at all. This left me feeling like the entire program was misrepresented. In reality, I was shuffled from group to group on each excursion and many times toured alone. As a solo traveler, this experience was very isolating. Transportation from place to place was a mixed bag. Sometimes it was quick and reliable, and sometimes I waited for extended time periods. For the most part the cars were neat and tidy. The drivers were competent. Connecting flights were pretty good. I personally would prefer either very early or very late flights. I felt as though a fair amount of time was wasted sitting at the airport. Accommodations were good for middle of the road choices. Breakfasts were very good. The best part of the program was definitely the guides! Every single one of them were personable and knowledgeable. For me, I would have enjoyed having at least a couple of scheduled outings in Phuket. Overall, the package itself was good. However, for a solo traveler it was quite isolating and lonely to spend days at a time and most meals alone. Additionally, I ended up spending at least another $500 purchasing excursions to fill my empty time.
