The tour was balanced in terms of the places visited-we had the chance to visit some more remote areas as well as some hot tourist spots and some of the larger cities. While this meant spending a lot of time in the car during the tour, the landscape was very beautiful and we enjoyed seeing the great variety. The tour was organized. Two things we would have liked more of were 1)more detailed communications about specific sites we would visit (we had some additional visits of various sites-great surprises but we would have enjoyed having that information in detail prior to arrival) and 2) more guided tours- we only had a tour guide in Fez. We understand it might be challenging to organize tour guides for small groups, but this took us a bit by surprise. - DRDaniel· June 2nd, 2023If you are looking to experience Morocco's imperial cities and the Sahara desert at it's best, then look no further, this trip is for you! From the offset, communication was excellent. Ali was ready to address any questions we had and was flexible in arranging our pick up location. At the start of our trip we were pleased to meet karim, who was our driver guide for the next 07 days. He is professional, informative and fun to travel with, sharing many interesting facts and stories about each place we visited. He immersed us in his Berber culture, teaching us key phrases that added to our experience. His photography skills are top notch and he has helped us capture some special moments. karim also surprised us with a birthday cake in the Sahara desert camp for my husband, which was a lovely personal touch! The accomodation was always excellent throughout our journey through Morocco. Food that was provided as part of the trip was of a very high quality. There were long drives involved which karim broke up nicely with great sights, good rest stops and restaurants to eat. He always got the energy going in our group when we needed a boost, especially after a long drive before riding the camels! Overall, we had the most unforgettable 7 days, with highlights being of Merzouga and the Sahara desert. We began our road trip as 4 friends but this quickly changed to 5, with karim. We were sad when it came to an end and look forward to coming back! Fernanda· June 1st, 2023To start I’d like to say Karim is a fantastic tour guide. If I could base the review on him only I’d give it 5/5. He is very kind, informative, patient and a great driver. The night in the desert was also magical and we deeply enjoyed it, and the tour guide in Fes was fantastic. However, the rest of the tour did not match the expectations set on the description. The hotels advertised as 4 stars were 2 stars at best. Very clean and with superb service but not what was advertised. The driving times set on the description -for example: Chefchaouen to Rabat in 2 hours- is completely unrealistic, even by maps standards it is 4 hours at best. The same with several of the other days were a “day” in the city is no more than a couple hours after a very long day in the car. He went above and beyond every step of the way to show us all of the highlights of this beautiful country. He was professional, insightful, extremely knowledgeable and made the tour fun for everyone. The pace was just right to accommodate varying activity levels of the group. The itinerary included the local culture, history, places, and experiences to interest everyone in the group as well. This is a very well coordinated tour and our guide was there to anticipate every need to orchestrate this trip flawlessly. I have only been back home for 3 days and already miss Morocco and the wonderful new friends that I’ve made. Plenty of stops on the road to stretch your legs, visits, and stops for pictures. We spent many hours in the car from attraction to others, but time flies by with those views and aziz stories, The desert is a magical attractions to visit and wish we had time to spend more days and learn about the nomads and locals, The sand dunes are breathtaking and we had the most lovely evening at the camp with the Berbers. Walking in the dunes, and the stars shouldn't be missed. We booked a wonderful 7 Days Morocco Tour From Marrakech with the desert experience and overnight in a Luxury Desert Camp, Our guide karim took us through beautiful countryside, visit the nomads in their cave, trek in the Atlas Mountains and tried the Berber Pizza.
