- AAshleyWoodford· August 29th, 2019It is worth taking the extra day in Istanbul at the start, and maybe more than one as there is a lot to see which is not on the tour and it is great place to just wander around. We were disappointed that between visiting the archaeological sites, which were sometimes a bit rushed, we were used as a captive audience for carpet and leather salesman. If someone in your group shows any interest then be prepared to hang around for ages while they attempt to close the sale. We would have preferred to have had a little longer in bed.Show more
