I was so intimated by booking an african trip from the states but nicas made it possible and comforted me the whole way. We were a group of 5 and it was the 2nd climb for me. I am 52 years old and I had climbed when I was 18 so it had been a while. However, everything went very well! Our guide and team was very supportive to make sure we made it to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. They were incredibly professional and welcoming and organised absolutely everything I need. They also talk me on a nice walk around moshi the day before I started the climb which was great. Their food is delicious and gear is of a really high quality as well. I was by myself and couldn't have felt like more of the Kilimanjaro Habitas Safaris family. Since day one, they'll encourage you, keep you well fed and keep you entertained during your climb up Kilimanjaro. The chief guide Joseph and his assistant guides were absolutely brilliant. They knew exactly what to do whenever somebody felt unwell- set the right pace and allowed sufficient rest breaks. I wouldn't have made it without the advice and encouragement from guides on the final summit night. Trek price through Kilimanjaro Habitas Safaris was significantly cheaper than rivals and there were no surprises. - Adriene· July 29th, 2023We used Kilimanjaro Habitas Safaris, after a recommendation from a friend. Nicas was great at replying to emails and keeping us informed through the whole booking cycle and after. The guide inspects all your gear before starting the climb which was great and you can hire additional gear recommended by the guide. On the climb itself you set your own pace which was great for me as I am very pole pole (slow!!). We made it to uhuru peak thanks to Freddy and Willy who were our guides that made the trip fun! The food on camp was varied and so flavorsome! We cannot thank the Kilimanjaro Habitas Safaris enough for all their help getting us to uhuru peak.
