- ATullos· October 30th, 2024Organized, well-balanced itinerary. Tour guide very knowledgeable, kind; bus driver safe, also kind. Hotels excellent. Group meals not so good - long wait time. Would definitely travel again!Trip date: April 2022Review collected by Collette
- ABARBARA· October 30th, 2024He conducted and explained our tours. He saw that we were on time and everyone was present.Trip date: April 2023Review collected by Collette
- AAmanda· October 30th, 2024As I understand, this was our tour manager Martin's first tour with Collette. I understand that English is not his native language. However, his speech was so halting and 'sharp,' it grated on my nerves. Martin met us at the airport. Others on the tour mentioned the email they had received from him. I did not receive the email from him. When I asked him about it he said I didn't need it - and I should get a picture of it from someone else. He insisted that we all install 'What's App' on our phones so he could communicate with us. He did not use the app at all. The welcome meeting: Usually we introduce ourselves and say where we are from. Martin did not have us do that, so I thought perhaps that would come at the welcome dinner. There was no 'welcome' at the dinner. And the restaurant was so crowded and noisy, that we would not have been able to hear anyway. He also had the habit of rapping on the microphone two to three times before he began to speak on the bus. On our first tour in Vienna, I was having ifficulty hearing the lady city guide. He commenced to be rude with me - saying, "You need to turn it on. To Channel 5." My VOX device was on and was on Channel 5. It was just some kind of a glitch at that time. I would not recommend that Collette again hire Martin as a guide. There are many other instances of his rudeness. I have much more I could say, but I am probably running out of space for this answer. I was hoping to be able to add more to my comments - because I think Collette needs to know what else was less than good on this particular tour. Because of Martin, the tour was less than what I expect on a Collette tour. And - I am not Amanda Schott. For some reason I did not receive a Collette survey for the Exploring the Alpine Countries., so Amanda forwarded her survey to me. I followed this tour immediately with Alpine Lakes and Scenic Trains. I think I do have a Collette survey for that tour. Please check my email address that you have on file. Sometimes I believe it is misspelled - hence - no email message.Show moreTrip date: April 2023Review collected by Collette
- ATracy· October 30th, 2024While I thought the tour had way too many people, I enjoyed our guide and all the spots we visited!!Trip date: May 2023Review collected by Collette
- ASuzanne· October 30th, 2024It was a good tour. Not perfect but very enjoyable.Trip date: June 2023Review collected by Collette
- ANancy· October 30th, 2024I visited wonderful places, some of which were very unique. Wouldn’t have seen them on my own.Trip date: June 2023Review collected by Collette
- AJeffrey· October 30th, 2024We had a great time and highly recommended the tour. However, there is always room for improvement. For example, the local tour guide in Freiburg was terrible. Ruldoff, the local tour guide in Vienna, wasn't to our liking. We recommend more time at Mt. Pilatus. We would have like time to ride the Alpine Slide.Show moreTrip date: July 2023Review collected by Collette
- AJohn· October 30th, 2024Walking great distances to a somewhat average restaurant And too much time shoppingTrip date: July 2023Review collected by Collette
- ADiana· October 30th, 2024Adjustments for the heat would have helped. Two hotels did not have ac which made sleeping at one very difficult. The other one had fans in the room which helped greatly. My best experience was the group photo and video at Saltzburg.Trip date: August 2023Review collected by Collette
- ASara· October 30th, 2024I have two suggestions. The food, other than the breakfast, could have been better. The dinners provided were not very good. Too much carbs and not enough salads or vegetables. There wasn’t much variety. When we were in Lucerne, it was a Sunday so all of the stores were closed. That was a disappointment. Our tour operator and bus driver were wonderful!!! Very nice people.Show moreTrip date: May 2024Review collected by Collette
