Customer Reviews
- Jacob· April 2nd, 2025We took a 16 day cycling tour with Indotrek starting in Bangkok and finishing in Saigon. In each of the 3 countries we had local guides; all different but all excellent. The route chosen was interesting and we think highlighted the uniqueness of each country. Being "on the ground" gave us a feeling of being close to the nature and culture. We had different bikes in each country but all were good and most excellent. Our guides brought us to local restaurants, some very simple, where we experienced taste sensations and delights. Our guides seemed to really enjoy what they did and were proud to feed us excellent local cuisine in unique locations. Our hotels were all good and some were extremely good. (We liked having a pool and air conditioning at the end of a ride) The trip went off without a hitch, and the handoffs at each country border were done real well, we felt well looked after. The countries were all different, but we were so impressed with the people's kindness. We never saw any anger....not even in the crazy Saigon traffic! Of special mention was Yai's culinary adventure and Thai massage, cycling with Poleak, our guide, between the temples at Ankor Waht, cycling up (and down) Bokor Mountain, and cycling the narrow paths and over the tiny bridges of the Mekong Delta in Vietnam with Dat, our guide. What a great adventure! We highly recommend.Show more
