- MAMichele· August 11th, 2024The itinerary was generally very good however our two options - the Douro River cruise with wine tasting and the drive to the coast, were substandard. The cruise was particularly poor and no way was it worth E50! Our group of 6 were all disappointed with our guide Hector. Although very knowledgeable he was inflexible, bad tempered and on one occasion aggressively rude to a fellow traveller. We frequently felt rushed and he was in such a hurry to finish the trip some people were still on the bus when he left us on the footpath. Check-in wasn't any better, he wasn't welcoming or friendly. Our driver George was absolutely wonderful. Most hotels were fine although showers over baths are a big risk for older travellers. I couldn't recommend this company.Show more
