  Wonderful trip to Japan lots of things to know. The overall tour schedule was good.

  Not the worst but also not the best. All itinerary is taken care of for you, but the additional tours and experiences they book for you are quite minimal. There are not a lot of activites they plan for you on this trip. It is fine if you have your own plans, but if you're overwhelmed with planning a trip, you have to still plan what exactly to do if you book here. It would be better to just plan a trip yourself and also the itinerary at this point. It would be much cheaper. The most dissapointing thing for me was Hakone. They booked a 2-day-pass for me, but I only had like half day to explore this place. It's not enough time. I also only had one physical ticket for the hakone pass, but I lost it. They have no way to send you a digital pass. Losing the ticket was my fault, I know. But that meant I couldn't explore Hakone at all. Very dissapointing.

  The tour was a great experience for us, seeing it was the first time we booked one. The tour host was supportive all the way through the duration of the tour in giving instructions and advice to make our travel plans as easy as possible. Where changes needed to be made to the itinerary, due to unforeseen circumstances, we were updated quickly and issued a refund, for an event that had to be cancelled, due to adverse weather condition warnings. We were very pleased with the daily tours we went on. The guides were very informative helpful and courteous. The choice of attractions to visit was great as well, such as the temples in Tokyo and the Tokyo Sky Tree Attraction. The hotel stays were great also. We would without hesitation use this company again, if we choose to book a tour to another country in the near future. The only negative experience we had, was the weather being so hot at the time of year in August, (38 degrees plus most times) we would shelter in air-conditioned places as much as possible during the day. Many thanks to this company, for the smooth and memorable experience.

  A good mix of things to do. I really appreciated the inter-city travel and accommodation being sorted; especially as it was my first tie in Japan.

  This tour is perfect for someone who wants the bare minimum of organisational input and is happy going it alone. Although it was touted as 'luxurious', my accommodation, for the most part, was very basic (one of my hotels charged $22 for my room and was not in a particularly salubrious neighbourhood) and only transport connecting Tokyo to Odawara, then to Kyoto and finally to Osaka was arranged. Although the initial itinerary indicated meals would be provided, this was not the case and added to the stress not only of having to figure out how to navigate the subways (all in Japanese) but to find food. The initial tour particulars cited it had been designed for a group of 10, this was not the case. Although my friend and I had signed up for the tour together, I was on my own, and if there were others who had signed up for this, they certainly didn't stay at any of my hotels or attend the Tokyo day tour (this was worthwhile) or use the '2-day' Hakone pass which was logistically only valid for a day as I l arrived in Odawara on one day and had to leave the next for Kyoto. The 1-day bus tour to Nara, etc, was immensely disappointing as not only was the bus an hour late in arriving (this had a huge impact on the tour itself), but the tour guide couldn't speak English and left us to our own devices at each port of call. In closing, I have to say that I found this tour exhausting and certainly not luxurious' in any way - given that the tour was paid , in full, at the time of booking, I do not understand the reason behind the sub-standard accommodation I experienced nor why breakfast, at the very least, was not provided by each hotel. What justification is there for citing this as 'luxurious'?
