    Bernardo, our Colette guide & Claudia, our driver were the best- considerate, kind, helpful, all superlatives & exceeded expectations I realized we booked through Tour Radar & ultimately Colette was our tour provider. The extra dollars charged was understandable but I will emphasized that there were communication misses, most importantly- messages from Colette as our emails had not been passed to them. It was advertised as 10 day trip but as we did not book flights through TR or Colette - big miss as to start date as it was only 9 days of actual tour, causing disconnect in hotel booking.

    Jo has been by far the most accomplished, caring, and professional tour director I have had on all my escorted group trips. She provided us with facts about all aspects of Portugal's history, religion, geography, politics, architecture, art, and music. She was never overwhelming because she delivered the information in manageable bits, to meet the needs of each day, but also to offer a more general view. She was patient with us, cheerful and optimistic, ready to help when needed, and giving us room to breathe when she felt it was necessary. Portugal's beauty and complexity opened to us in increments, and Jo was its efficient emissary.

    We realized as the tour went on that we could have used a day between sites to relax and do our own thing - but this was our first tour and we accepted the itinerary when we signed on. We did at times feel a bit rushed. One hotel was not on par with the others and it was disappointing. All in all though an amazing tour with such knowledgeable guides!

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
