- PKPatricia· April 3rd, 2023Overall it was good. We were disappointed in our initial hotel location and level, believing we had prepaid for deluxe/superior accommodations. I was told we’d be charged an extra$200/ night to have a nicer hotel. The other hotels were what I expected so I don’t know why the one in Buenos Aries was not similar. The Classic Hotel in Buenos Aries did have the nicest breakfast and very nice staff. The Milanga tour with tango lesson was spectacular and the guide was perfect. The Argentine cooking experience was NOT a cooking experience, just a VERY expensive dinner. Please describe it better in the future. Making a cocktail and folding 1 empanada is NOT a cooking experience. Some guidance on shopping might have been nice. Like the best prices for the tourist items would be found during our excursions from Salta and given time to shop. The disappointing hotel and its location next to bars and clubs the day we arrived gave the tour a sour taste at the start. It took a while to overcome the shock. It made us concerned that the rest of the trip would also be disappointing. Fortunately, it was not and things got better as the trip progressed. We also paid for a private/semi private tour. Our trip to Humamarca was with nearly 20 people. While the bus was comfortable, it was NOT a semi private tour and the hour to pick up and hour to drop off everyone made it a VERY long day. I will recommend that others verify what level of accommodations and tours they are receiving BEFORE buying a trip from Tour Radar, but I will recommend you. All in all it was a good trip.Show moreSay Hueque Argentina & Chile Journeys commented on this reviewHello Patricia, First of all, thank you for letting us know about this. - AAndrew Leslau· January 17th, 2020Agostina: Hope all is well. Will try and remember to go on Trip Advisor. Think of you often you special one. The booking process was very good. I don´t think we have a favourite excursion but the Iguazú Falls will I think be the most memorable. All the guides were good but Agostina, you are a star. You will be a greater star. Hope there’s a next time. All the very bestShow moreSay Hueque Argentina & Chile Journeys commented on this reviewAgostina will be very happy to receive your review! - ANancy Moye· January 17th, 2020It is very hard for me to select a best part of our experience with the travel service, but if pressed I would have to say the people working for the agency. Their warmth and competence was outstanding. Each excursion was different enough and interesting enough to stand on its own merit. Our favorite hotel was the Bellini, due to the staff that work there and the overall ambience and location of the hotel. Never have that solid of service at a hotel. Excursions as noted above were great. Salta and all that it entailed was exceptional in the breadth of experiences and Iguazu Falls area was breathtaking, only wished we had stayed another day to explore further. The guides were one of the highlights of the trip. Raul out of Salta was so impressive in his quiet knowledge of his home country and the perspective of place in the world. Humbling. We have no comments related to improvements as we were over the top pleased with our encounter with the agency and people. Special thanks to you Rodrigo for everything and Great Energy to you as you enter this next exciting phase of your life.Show moreSay Hueque Argentina & Chile Journeys commented on this reviewHelo! - AConlie Wong· January 17th, 2020Your advice on our trip planning makes the holiday went smoothly and didn’t have too much disturbance. All the tour guides were professional and knowledgeable. A detailed information was given of each view point. We especially thanks those guides in El Calafate. However, the one in Salta who guided us to Purmamarca was poor. As the car was full and we all sat at the back of the van. His voice was not clear and sometimes we didn’t know what to see and name of view points when get off the van. More importantly, he left us all in the restaurant without gave any translation of the menu whilst the waitress didn’t know any English. We have no help until other tourist told us what the menu was. You can imagine how we feel unhelpful at that moment. The private service in El Cafayate, Iguazu and Buenos Aires was great and give us more freedom to decide which place should stay Longer or skip. As far they found us like photo shooting, they always pointed out the good place for shooting and gave us sufficient time. Of course, this may defer the touring but thanks for their patience. Personally, I like Adrian who is our guide in Iguazú on Argentina side. After the picked up from airport, he gave us a lot of advice on visiting the fall, preparing for the wet, etc. He also drew a map of the town so that we can easy to find out the restaurant and town. He is so caring. It was sad he hadn’t been our guide on the next day on Brazil side though the other was good as well. Jose was the guide in Buenos Aires. A caring and funny man. During the tour, he advised us some posture for photo shooting which was nice. He also taught us how to us the panorama function for iPhone - so lovely. After the Tigre tour, he was willing to brought us to the El Ateneo and gave an idea on the CD for tango music. All the guide for private service were fantastic. We all like them and wholeheartedly thanks for their effort. Once again, thanks for all the helps during the planning and trip. Have all the best.Show moreSay Hueque Argentina & Chile Journeys commented on this reviewHi! Wow! Thanks for this generous and detailed review. - ABashira Rangwala· January 17th, 2020We had a great time in Argentina. We toured Buenos Aries, Salta and Iguazú. The hotels were very good centrally located in Buenos Aries and in Iguazú. The hotel house of jasmine in Salta was on outskirts of the town, but was a fantastic hotel in a peaceful setting. Say Hueque had perfect booking process, Karen Rosa was our contact for booking and she did a very good job, always available if we called. All the guides were great and Agostina was friendly and very knowledgeable. We would highly recommend Say Hueque for travel in Argentina.Show moreSay Hueque Argentina & Chile Journeys commented on this reviewHi! Wow! Thanks for this generous review. - AMaryAnn Labant· January 17th, 2020Lujan was extremely helpful from booking our internal flights when I could not find good pricing to buying us tickets for the performance at the Colon Theatre. She also answered all of my many questions. It is hard to pick a favorite excursion between Buenos Aires, Salta area and the Iguazu Falls. If pushed to make a decision we loved the mountains – both the trip to the Great Salt Flats and the Humahuaca and Conchas Gorges. We were probably most blown away by the drive through the Conchas Gorge to and from Cafayate but, at the same time when we were at the top of Humahuaca Gorge the view was unbelievable. And we saw a condor! We liked the mix of tour and time on our own to explore. I went with a very open mind so there was nothing that did not fulfill my expectations. I already miss the croissants and empanadas and hope to return one day to explore the central region and Patagonia.Show moreSay Hueque Argentina & Chile Journeys commented on this reviewWe will be glad to host you once again to experience Patagonia! - MLMaryAnn· May 8th, 2019It was a wonderful trip in Northern Argentina. The only reason I gave the itinerary 4 was that it would have been nice to spend another full day in Cafayate to explore the surrounding country more. Say Hueque's guides, especially Ceci and Raul, were excellent and explained so much about the country and the scenery. It was so enjoyable yet not rushed since there was free time to explore on our own. I hope to return soon to explore southern Argentina.Show moreSay Hueque Argentina & Chile Journeys commented on this reviewAnd we will be more than happy to host again, I´m glad to read that you will give a shot to Patagonia because is simply amazing.
