  I recently took the “Canyons of the West 3days/2nights tour” and am hoping to contact someone at Tour Radar for a partial refund it was so bad. I doubt this review space has enough space for all the issues that were wrong but here is a brief recap below. 1) Promised features on tour ad were not as promised and specific tour stops and features were not offered and no alternative or replacement stops were offered. The tour company knew there would be no Lake Powell cruise or stop but continued to offer it as an enticement. False advertising at best. 2) The tour was sold to me by Tour Radar, but then I was told it was a Bomba Tour operator and at the end of the tour we were asked to give feedback to a separate firm called Empire Tours. Not clear ownership of whom is responsible or accountable. 3). Tour guide Dino tried hard to deal with circumstances of fire-caused changes to the scheduled itinerary diversion but offered VERY little actual information about the tour stops in terms of history or other points of interest along hours-long bus routes. 4) Both hotels we stopped at had disappointing breakfasts and at both hotels I was given a room that had not been cleaned with prior hotel guests’ sheets on bed and unclean bathrooms. Both breakfasts were disappointing. No coffee in one and the last hotel offered a bag with a badly bruised old banana, tiny package Oreo cookies, small yogurt cup, and a bite size “muffin”, and a bottle of water. 5) My party never were issued actual tickets for this tour and given no info on where to go at the Luxor Hotel to meet a bus and the tour guide did not have any name tag or signage identifying himself as the tour guide for Canyons of the West excursion. There are many more issues with this specific tour that I can’t address here but as Insaid am hoping to contact someone at Tour Radar or whomever is responsible to obtain a partial refund. As said above the tour guide said the tour had not included the Lake Powell excursion and cruise for over two years and yet it is still listed as a feature in the tour promotion at Tour Radar.   Driver - Great Tour guide- ok Dino gave very little information about what we were seeing. Most of it I knew already. He had no name tag identifying who he was and we were not asked for tickets or ID before getting on the bus. No ice breakers to learn about fellow passengers. Motels -poor. Both nights we walked into rooms that had not been cleaned and had dirty sheets and towels. No coffee one morning and could not find staff to put more out. Next morning the “bag breakfast” was not satisfactory. Tour info advertised boat trip and sites to see on Lake Powell. Tour guide said they had not done boat tours in many years. We asked to go to horseshoe Bend instead but could not because of insurance restrictions. It should not be advertised as a major part of the trip if an alternative excursions is not offered. Frequent stops were adequate and enjoyable. I would not recommend this trip to anyone.
