- CLChloe· June 9th, 2019Okay tour overall, the cabins were spacious and comfy. Good air con and working shower with hot water. We found the itinerary quite disappointing though, we spent too much time on the boat doing nothing and our trip on the day boat was badly organised. The staff on the day boat didn’t introduce themselves or really tell us anything about Ha Long Bay, actually they slept for a lot of the day. Food was yummy and you get plenty of it but it’s repetitive and we didn’t enjoy eating rice, noodles and seafood at 10:30am on the last day!! Would have preferred an option for eggs on toast or something similar. The staff on the cruise ship were friendly and helpful but we were surprised with how little English they spoke on a tourist cruise ship, however, of course we understand that we are in Vietnam!! I probably wouldn’t recommend Starlight to others.Show more
