I have just finished my 5 week east cost tour and it was just like a movie. I was able to see so many beautiful places and got to know so many lovely people who I already miss. First and foremost Jenn. She was not only a wonderful tour guide but has also become a really good friend. Thanks for everything Jenn you were amazing!!
- by Sarah BaumgartnerI’ve just completed a five-week journey from Sydney to Cairns, and I can confidently say it was the best five weeks of my life. This trip would never have been the same without our incredible tour guide, Zoe. Zoe went above and beyond in every possible way. She wasn’t just organized, she was always a step ahead, ensuring everything ran smoothly while also creating a vibrant and fun atmosphere. Her attention to detail was unmatched. I truly don’t believe I would have experienced half as much or created such amazing memories without booking this ultimate tour. If you’re lucky enough to have Zoe as your guide, know that you’re in for something special. Thank you, Zoe, for making this the trip of a lifetime!

Amazing tour – I really enjoyed it! The itinerary was great, and the hotels were nice. Eoin was an incredible guide and went above and beyond to ensure every group member had a memorable experience!
- by Jonathan SJustin was an amazing guide. Knowledgeable regarding aspects of Australia and even if he didn't know the answer, he made his answer convincing. LOL. The fellow group of travels were very diverse but got a long so well that it made so pleasurable. Would I do it again.....?? Highly recommend this trip Lynn

An excellent trip from Adelaide to Melbourne. We were a small group that got on well and we were looked after by our guide and driver Craig. He was knowledgeable about the sites we visited and was also able to provide a detailed background to the history of each site and kept us informed regarding the local flora and fauna. The coastline along the coastal road is stunning. The accomadation was good, the younger members of the group used the shared rooms while I opted for my own room (its an age thing ) The first day was a long day travelling but we had plenty of breaks. I would recommend starting from Adelaide rather than Melbourne and finish on a long day driving on the final day I would strongly recommend this trip and the operator David
- by David LinesWe had a brilliant time on this tour. Being a couple of seniors and therefore less agile than most of the group we were delighted by the consideration given to us by Janet our wonderful tour leader. The alternative walks which still afforded magnificent views kept us extremely happy while the youngsters went off on more challenging hikes. The only grumble we have is the poor quality of the seating on the minibus. Lack of leg room was detrimental to arthritic knees. But to Janet our huge Thank You.

I highly recommend this tour! It was so much fun and truly comprehensive. Some days were intense, but I loved getting to see so many fabulous places. If you’re planning to visit Australia, this tour is ideal! I was initially concerned about the group’s age range, but everyone was close to my age (approx 26-32), which made the experience even more enjoyable. Our CEO, Lauren, was outstanding—incredibly kind and helpful, which enhanced the trip. As for accommodations, only two hostels didn’t quite meet my expectations, but we notified the company, so I’m hopeful they’ll address this for future tours.
- by Cristina Calvo FernándezIt was amazing country and amazing trip! The program was relaxing but at the same time covered all major attractions along the route. Also included a variety of activities. The tour was combined of two segments, so we had two guides. Both of them were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour. Thank you!

Tour Radar is a great way to get a 10 day tour of a part of Australia. There was a bit of difficulty getting used to finding our tour guider for the day and realizing that every tour was separate, so we had no consistent group, everyday was with different guide and with different people. enities but the hotels in Sydney and Melbourne were excellent. The only negative: The Southern X in Cairns was substandard, away from any restaurants and in a poorer neighborhood, with few services provided. The actual daily tours were excellent!
- by Dennis D MassionWonderful trip to Cairns for some snorkeling and diving at the Great Barrier Reef. Snorkeling at Saxon reef and Hastings reef was like swimming through an aquarium filled with colorful tropical fish. I loved seeing sharks and green sea turtles at Green Island. I stayed at the Abbot Hotel and it was within 5 minutes of all the pick up points for every tour day. Great access to restaurants and grocery store for great food options. The Kuranda train ride and return on the skyrail was a nice ending to the trip. I highly recommend this tour.

I wish I could recommend Intrepid, but we just returned from an Intrepid trip that was a hellacious travel experience. Our tour was from Sydney to Cairns (mind you, Intrepid is an Australian company). They put us with a guide who clearly didn't know the route and got us lost multiple times per day, both when he was driving to locations (he couldn't read Google Maps, seriously) and when we were out looking for hiking trails. He had no facts about the area and went off on tangents about his failed restaurants instead of teaching us about the history and agriculture. He was totally uncomfortable driving the van, and would park far away from locations in random open lots and make us drag our stuff for blocks because he didn't know how to park closer. There was one night when we were staying in a suburb, so he he drove us into town for dinner because it was too far to walk from our accommodation; he then drank alcohol with his dinner before driving us back, which made many of us uncomfortable. I and a number of other travelers emailed and called Intrepid incessantly throughout the tour to see if they could switch the guide to no response. We booked with Intrepid because we wanted an experienced guide and the ease of having logistics handled; because of our horrific guide, we had an infinitely worse travel experience than we would have had if we had traveled alone. Save your money and your stress and book with anyone else.

During this tour you get to see (what I think) anything you could expect seeing throughout the East Coast of AUS. When it comes to wildlife we just saw it all if you ask me! Except the whale and Cassowary, but ofcourse you always have to have a bit of luck for wild life spotting. What we did see for example: many wallabies, kangaroos, koalas, dolphins, crocodiles, sharks, pythons, many cockatoos, spiders, dingos, turtles, many different fish and way too many Kookaburras :P Besides wildlife (my personal favorite reason to visit the eastern Australian coastline) we also saw beautiful nature. The more you come northwards, the more varied nature becomes. In the southern part of our trip we saw lots of (pine) trees, but further north it became more varied with deciduous trees, rolling landscapes and nice mountain and agricultural landscapes. To experience the complete Aussie way of living, we stayed in different hostels varying in luxury from basic to a nice private swimming pool included. And the best experience I got on K'gari Island where we stayed in beach cabins at the Eco Retreat Resort and drove with 4WD's al along the isle to explore the most beautiful lakes as wondering around in paradise! The stay in the Surfside Hostel in Port Stephens felt like being one with nature! Not to forget our 2 nights stay on a sailing yacht at open sea around the beautiful Whitsunday Islands! What a magical experience was that! During the complete trip we were served with breakfast almost every day and even dinner was included for some like 14 days! Sometimes even prepared by our own tourguides themselves, wonderful experience, the real Aussie way! During the driving from one to another place we got all the info needed about our next destination combined with the possible optional activities to book. Wonderful and spontaneous brought by our tour guide/driver. Altogether I can only say one thing about this tour: this was one of the most exciting and wonderful trips I ever made! Ofcourse it's a bit dependent on the travel group you will walk in, but I really had the best travel partners I could ever have wished accompanying me during this trip ;)
- by Pieter van DongenThe tour was very well organized and the activities were great. Our guide did an amazing job!! She was always there for us and had so many stories to tell.

This past week with Mojosurf on the 7 Day Living the Dream Surf Adventure has been absolutely incredible. To start, the 9 hour train from Sydney to Spot X was a bit long (especially without charging ports on it or anything, be prepared and bring snacks!), but after arriving at camp I knew immediately that it was worth the wait. The accommodation is basic but beachside and gorgeous, and all close enough to feel like a big family. I was definitely impressed with the food, as we weren't limited to small portions at all and it was delish (everybody needed some good hearty grub after being out surfing all day so it was very appreciated). Overall, there was such a friendly and happy vibe around the place. It was easy to get settled in and meet people as everybody, short-termers and long-termers, mingled and were all just happy to be there together. I definitely have to mention how great my guide Bruno was - the guy is hilarious and was very welcoming, great to get us settled, and willing to help with anything we needed for the duration of our time there (while also being a great guy all around!). Continuing on to the Arts Factory in Byron, the place lives up to its expectation, definitely on the hippy side of things, but still good fun. It was definitely nice to go out for dinner together in the evenings, and good to have food included in the morning and for lunch. In terms of the actual surfing, I can definitely say that the lessons were helpful and good fun. The setup of lessons at Spot X was so smooth, surfing twice a day was easy as you were right next to the boards and beach. The lessons were genuinely quite helpful and informative, and not just a supervised board rental, which was appreciated. There was a good ratio of instructors to participants so you did feel like you were getting constructive help as you weren't just a number in a crowd. This was a bit different when we moved up to Byron Bay, as the distance to the Mojo shop and beach meant you were gone from 12:30-5pm or so each day, and the groups were bigger, but still many instructors considering the group size so all was still well. One small suggestion would be to space out different levels more during lessons - not something we had an issue with at Spot X, but more of an issue at Byron, when those on their 5+ lesson were surfing with the beginners, who often were not used to giving space between boards and surfing etiquette, making it a bit frustrating for those of us who knew better and didn't want to run into anybody. For anybody considering this trip, definitely take the leap, as it's been so worth it to get involved in the surfing world and will make you much more confident to get out on the waves, while also having such a fun week and getting to meet some great people. One important thing to note - you will be exhausted, you'll probably have many bruises and injuries all over, and your muscles will constantly sore, BUT, it will be worth it, without a doubt!

- by Iveta BriedeNellie was an amazing tour guide and I had the best time ever! Great trip! The only thing I would Recommend is booking restaurants with more of a vegetarian variety but everything was great! My favourite part was swimming the Great Barrier Reef I was nervous but Nellie took me out and showed me and stayed with me until I was comfortable! Thank you for such a great experience!

This was our first time to Australia and we saw & learned so much in four packed days. Pierre was amazing, a non-stop stream of information on just about anything. I was constantly asking questions and never had one that he didn’t have the answer for. For example, while on the road between stops, I asked about the indigenous peoples of Australia and got a half hour thorough (and sometimes sad) lecture on their history. The hotels and included meals were first rate. Highly recommended.
