Without a guide, it was hard to travel alone through Japan. I spent a fortune on taxis and without Japanese speaking English was even harder. You shouldn’t offer a tour without a guide.

There was nothing in that tour that I could not have planned by myself. Further more, I could have gotten all the hotel stays and the train trips and the sky hop on hop off buses for less than I paid for this package. I felt like I was in a scavenger hunt running back and forth looking for the next bus or train to be able to see any of the interesting sites and the only ones I was able to see are the ones I scheduled on my own outside of the package. The only highlight I really enjoyed was the Shibuya food tour. If you want to go to Japan on budget I don't recommend this tour. You can do all the same bookings of this tour on your own and really save money and keep your budget.

A great overview of Japan and for the short 5 day tour managed to see all the highlights.

This tour was a lot of fun and very well organized. I was able to explore so many different parts of Japan within 5 days. However, the tour did feel a little rushed and I wish we were able to spend more time in certain places. Also, the itinerary mentioned seeing Shibuya Sscramble Crossing and a sumo stadium, but we only saw those places by driving past them. The description in the itinerary was a little misleading, as I thought we would be attending a sumo wrestling match and would be able to explore Shibuya Crossing on foot. Giving 4 stars because of those reasons. Overall, I would recommend this tour. I had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed my time in Japan.

Hikari was the best tour guide we could have hoped for on this tour. She was fun friendly and had the best food and activity recommendations! She always got involved with all the activities as part of the group, always made sure everyone was looked after and having a great time. I can’t fault Hikari on anything on this tour and I came away with a new friend!

Your attention to detail, especially in making sure that I, as a vegetarian, had delicious and thoughtful options, was incredibly appreciated. You took us to some wonderful hidden gems that we would have never found on our own. What really stood out was how you made each experience feel special and personalised. Whether it was exploring the sights during the day or going for some brilliant nights out, you were always there with us, making every moment even more fun and enjoyable. Your warmth, kindness, and local knowledge made our trip one we will never forget. Thank you for everything—you were a huge part of what made this adventure so special!

Yes it was a very busy tour, it would have been nice to have a little down time. Too much crammed into each day. Felt like an endurance trip.

I booked this tour last minute. It was an amazing experience and went beyond my expectations. The travel consultant Nicole has been friendly and helpful, always responded to me promptly. The tour guide in TOKYO was enthusiastic. He answered my questions with detailed information. I enjoyed chatting with him... He also took me nice pictures of Mount FUJI. Here I have to say I was VERY VERY lucky! The weather on the day was favourable and I was able to see the breathtaking view of FUJI. Thanks to agate travel for this wonderful travel experience. Highly recommend!

I’ve sent my complaints to the company already. Still waiting for a response. Don’t rely on this company for your travels. Expect to pay more out of pocket than anticipated - some activities weren’t available, we were told transportation was covered for the whole trip - wound up having to cover the last two days, not enough meal tickets were provided so we were on our own for that, etc. etc. so many things went wrong on this trip.

I'm happy I came on this tour, thank you for thr opportunity to see multiples parts of Japan for the week. One thing I would suggest is for future tours, I'd recommend increasing the tour to either 6 days to a week, so customers can get the chance to stay in each city for at least 2 days. My family and I had trouble dragging luggage from hotel to hotel, since we didn't have time to really settle and explore each area due to each city being hours apart. For every hotel, I would recommend 2 days there l, and then they can switch to the next one. So within that week, they'll have a chance to full see various parts of each city.

The communication between the travel agency was very poor. I waited for over an 1 hr expecting someone to meet me and greet me as indicated on the itinerary. No one showed up. I had to call the emergency number listed but they were also unaware that I was traveling. I had to explain my situation and at first they were not very helpful. I had to call 3 times. I will definitely not recommend Tourradar to anyone that I Know.
