I enjoyed the well-organized tour of Luang Prabang so much and explored a lot in such a short time! The hotel was clean, beautifully decorated, in an excellent location (near the markets and the major tourist sights), and had friendly staff members. Phet was an excellent tour guide, and I learned so much about Lao culture, history, environment, gastronomy, and more. Additionally, he and the driver were always on time. I especially enjoyed learning the history behind the various temples and museums in the city, traveling on the Mekong River, standing in front of the breathtaking Kuang Si Falls, visiting places that support local communities, and learning more about Lao culture. Additionally, I really appreciated that I was taken to some places that directly support local communities (such as the place that supports women's weaving traditions and the restaurant owned by a nonprofit that trains young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to work there). I highly recommend doing this tour and adding Laos to your travel bucket list!
- by Gabrielle SusoiuThe guides were both excellent, very engaging, caring and very knowledgeable; the organization was in some respects a bit confused, in one case regarding how a local payment was to be made and in another instance there was a request for some official Lao document of which I had no awareness. Overall, however, the experience was excellent. Thank you

Nice places to visit
- by Adrian-Cristian POPAOverall we thought the tour was very good. The places that were selected to visit were excellent. Overall Legend Tours did a good job. They were responsive when we contacted them and seemed quite friendly. At times it appeared that the Legend Groups representatives (Tony & Danny) weren’t paying enough attention to the questions we had concerning the details of our tour (please see the string of correspondence with them on your web site). The local Vientiane tour guide (Sai) was absolutely outstanding! His knowledge and ability to speak and understand English was excellent. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy and taken care of. The tour guide in Luang Prabang was good too but his knowledge and ability to speak and understand English was limited. The lunch we had after visiting the caves wasn’t very good but the other two lunches included while in Luang Prabang were delicious.

Amazing tour! Did not know what to expect but was more than pleasantly surprised! Perfect balance between nature, adventure and culture! Wonderful and knowledgeable guide! Home stay was a must! Nothing but good things to say about this tour! Laos and it’s people are a treasure! We have travelled the world and this has to be one of the top tours on our list! Thank you Tour Radar
- by Kathy Lee SangOur guide and driver provided excellent service. Our guide was very knowledgeable. The tour was well planned, the cultural sites like weaving center and paper making center where very interesting, the various temples and palaces were well worth seeing. The restaurants selected all served very good meals, always plenty to eat at tour meals. Very good tour and excellent value for the cost. Luang Prabang is beautiful.

Everything was perfect, guides were knowledgeable and helpful, hotels up to standard.
- by Erich PloechlThe trip gave us a good insight of the Lao life and took us to markets and local restaurants along the way. Our guide for the Vientiane was always happy to answer questions on all aspects of life and the Plain of Jars and seemed knowledgeable. Both staffs were charming to be with and made sure we had a comfortable, safe and entertaining trip. Well done guys! Highly recommend DNQ travel to all !

The tour was very informative, I learned a lot about the history and traditions of Laos. Highly recommended.
- by Tabish AnjumI recently had the pleasure of embarking on a 4-day tour of Laos, and it was an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the beauty and culture of this Southeast Asian gem. Day 1: Arrival in Vientiane Our journey began in the capital city, Vientiane. The warm welcome from our guide set the tone for the trip. We visited the iconic Pha That Luang, a stunning gold-covered stupa that is a symbol of Laos. The day concluded with a leisurely stroll along the Mekong River, where we enjoyed the sunset and sampled local street food. Day 2: Vang Vieng Adventure On the second day, we traveled to Vang Vieng, known for its breathtaking landscapes. The highlight was a kayaking trip down the Nam Song River, surrounded by limestone mountains. We also explored the Tham Chang Cave, which offered fascinating views and a glimpse into the region's history. The day was filled with adventure and natural beauty. Day 3: Luang Prabang Exploration We then made our way to Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The city’s charm is undeniable, with its well-preserved architecture and vibrant night market. We visited the Kuang Si Waterfalls, where we swam in the turquoise pools and enjoyed a picnic lunch. The evening was spent participating in the traditional almsgiving ceremony, a truly humbling experience. Day 4: Cultural Immersion and Departure On our final day, we explored the local temples, including Wat Xieng Thong, known for its intricate designs. We also had the opportunity to take part in a cooking class, where we learned to prepare traditional Lao dishes. The tour concluded with a farewell dinner, reflecting on the incredible experiences we shared. Overall Experience This 4-day tour of Laos was expertly organized, with knowledgeable guides who provided insights into the culture and history of the country. The itinerary was well-balanced, offering a mix of adventure, relaxation, and cultural immersion. I left Laos with a deeper appreciation for its beauty and heritage. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the best of Laos in a short time. It was a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and breathtaking scenery.

A Must-Do for Culture Lovers! If you love history, culture, and stunning scenery, this tour is a must-do! Starting in Luang Prabang with its golden temples, every stop had something unique. The visit to the Plain of Jars was haunting yet fascinating, and our guide brought so much local insight. From there, the countryside views were breathtaking, especially as we headed to Vientiane. I left with a deep appreciation for Laos. Thank you, Vietlong Travel!
- by Bessie RosalesOur honeymoon in Laos was absolutely wonderful! We fell in love with the charm of Luang Prabang, the stunning waterfalls, and the peaceful boat ride. The tour gave us just the right mix of relaxation and adventure, and Vientiane offered a great ending. A beautiful way to start our new chapter!

Loved the trek and this cuiltural experioence. We didn't see any other tourists when we were trekking, nor staying in the villages we stayed in. Our guide was great, and I loved how they spread our dollars across the villages we went to, employing a guide, and getting food from various sources so that the whole village benefitted. The accomodation was primitive, but comfy and it was wonderful to be so close to village life. The only concern I had was that I trekked in April, not realising how this was the hottest month, and so found the heat taxing on the longest trek day. Definitely recommended.
- by Jonathan ChristleyThis was a well planned and fun tour complete with a great workout with the challenging hikes. My guide Mr. Khamdee was excellent! Highly recommended!
