If any of you are on the fence about coming to Egypt, don’t hesitate, come! Giza (the Pyramids) is nowhere near Gaza (Palestine), and I never once felt in danger or any hostility from anyone while in Egypt. On the contrary, young school children seemed delighted to have a conversation with me and even ask for pictures with me! Everyone was welcoming, and friendly. I felt safer here than I would most places in the USA. There is no way I could have seen everything I saw on this tour, on my own. From the meeting at the airport to the transfers and wonderful customer service from Mustafa, this was one of the most enjoyable tours I’ve taken in a long time. It’s a fast paced itinerary no doubt, but there’s no wasted time and every move is well thought out and planned. My guide in Cairo Souhaila was a wonderful, thoughtful, friendly and genuinely knowledgeable person, that brought both the old city of Cairo as well as the Pyramids, alive! For the cruise, our guide Ahmed Kassem was absolutely perfect and the ship was gorgeous, with a massive stateroom, amazing air conditioning, a beautiful sun deck and pool, and genuinely helpful and friendly crew. Before arriving to the cruise, I ran into an issue at the airport on my flight to Aswan, from Cairo and called Ahmed early in the morning. He did not bat an eye and straightened everything out with the airline, ensuring I didn’t miss the cruise. I’ve learned so much about the history and culture of Egypt, I truly felt like I was on an expedition! Ahmed was accommodating, personable and friendly and explained everything with genuine expertise. You can tell he loves his job. Finally the last day in Hurghada was absolutely incredible! The resort we were put up in is beyond gorgeous, with amazing food, incredible staff and a great location next to the beach. I could t have asked for more.

This was an excellent tour, it met all my requirements and greatly assisted with the booking of the flights to and from the cruise. Our tour guide Kamal was simply amazing he assisted with anything and everything we needed. He helped with data and even negotiating cheaper prices with vendors. He provided us with services that were obviously above and beyond and he never complained. The trip was well planned and organized we didn't have to wait in any queues for tickets and the transport was always ready and waiting for us. The downside to the trip was the cruise ship itself, Princess Sarah. It was highly disappointing and not the standard I was assured during booking. Itvwas in desperate need of maintenance, our room was freezing and blew cold air even when we put the heater on. The wifi didn't work we couldn't get a spare key for our room. Kamal spoke to the manger and they upgraded our room. In all honesty I would have given this tour a 3 if it weren't for Kamal and the way he treated us soo well.

We were very well looked after straight after arrival. Our guide was very knowledgeable on Egypt history and surrounding's. He kept us safe and away from beggars. The only disadvantage was that the surrounding were very noisy and quite often we had problems to understand our guide. He organized an unforgettable birthday party for me on the cruise ship, that we will never forget. What we did not like so much were the very early get-up times and no recuperation day or time to shop around. I understand it would have been difficult for the guide to keep us safe and away from beggars. The other thing that might have been helpful to overcome the language problem, would have been a summary booklet of all sightseeing objects at the beginning of the journey, or and a mini com system where we can all have ear pieces and tour guide speaks in a mini phone. But all together an unforgettable experience. Thank you for all your wonderful arrangements. Would do it again.

The tour was overall great. Very informative and spectacular sights, however quite early mornings (up to 2 am get ups) with a busy schedule

The stay on the cruise (M/S A Sara) was clean, comfortable and pleasant with decent food. Please read through the webpage carefully to understand what is included (e.g. guide to explain the sites, drivers, horse carriage ride in Edfu, motorboat to Philae) and excluded (cruise Wi-fi, entrance fees, tips) so that you don't pay for something that you're not supposed to pay for. If you have paid for additional tours such as the hot air balloon ride on TourRadar, please make it clear to both the admin and the guide of the tour company beforehand. I spent more time and effort than I would like to talk about such administrative matters because the admin thought that I did not make payment for the hot air balloon ride (despite me already doing so) due to a system error. Also, clarify early about the hot air balloon ride too as mine was the non-sunrise ride which did not make sense in the timeline as taking the later ride resulted in me checking out of the boat and starting the tour late. The last day could have been planned better. I am thankful that after I raised these issues at the end of the tour, the tour company took time to come down to listen and offer service recovery. Overall it was still a nice 4D3N journey with ample time to explore Aswan (on the first day if you start the tour in the morning) and Luxor (third night).

This trip was a dream. Spectacular, amazing, awe inspiring. I just don't have enough words to recommend it enough. The guides and drivers all were fantastic and went out of their way to make the trip special in every single way. In order of meeting, Mustafa, Mohammed (driver), Hassan (guide),Bassam (guide), Mohamed (driver), Mustafa (in Luxor), Omar (guide). Every one of them were amazing!! We added on a day at the beginning and saw the newly opened Egyptian museum. We did a Nile dinner cruise that day. Both of these add ons were facilitated through the tour operators. I did an add on hot air balloon ride in Luxor (highly recommended) as well as a visit to the Nubian village in Aswan with a camel ride (amazing!). Again, everything was highly organized and facilitated through the tour. Just so many amazing experiences were had and lasting friendships were made. Best experience of our lives.

My mother and me really enjoyed this organized trip. From the first day until the last day we felt super comfortable with our tour operator Eyad. He was available via WhatsApp and the communication worked really well. Even when suddenly there was a flight cancelled, he was available in the very early morning and helped us to get the next flight. Our guides Khaled, Yusir and Maha were also very attendant and explained a lot to us in the different cultural sites, since my mother and me are very interested in Egyptian culture and heritage. Our three guides really made the time in the temples a well informed and fun experience. And we enjoyed to be in a small group, so we could ask everything we wanted. The hotels were very nice and the accommodation highlight was the cruise ship „Royal Elite“. The staff was so polite and attendant, we were very happy with them. We can highly recommend this tour. It was really worth it. We got to know the ancient Egyptian culture and buy having our great tour guides, we could also ask a lot about Egyptian lifestyle today. Thank you so much! We are looking forward to our next trip to Egypt!

Our Egypt holiday was perfect. This was our 2nd trip to Egypt so we knew what we wanted and what to expect There was only myself and my wife in our tour, so this was like a private tour. This holiday was made perfect because of the tour guides. Everything that was on our wish list was done including extra things that were recommended. Hotels were very good and transfers and internal flights were all organised. Even had high tea at the Old Cataract Hotel in Aswan. This was prebooked by our tour guide. Saqqara and Dendera optional excursions were fantastic. These included lunches which were great. Lit up Luxor temple and Kom Ombo temple at night were just amazing. Breathtakingly beautiful. Special thanks to our Cairo tour guide Mona who went above and beyond to help and advise us. She organised the new Grand Egyptian Museum tickets and entry into the Red pyramid and great pyramid. Also special thanks to tour guide Mohammed in Luxor who recommended our fantastic extra day visit to valley of the Queens and extra temples. Special thank you to Peter, Dina and Abdulla all tour guides who gave excellent information at every site visited. Drivers through out the tour were experienced, careful, and safe with clean vehicles. The 3 day Nile Cruise was perfect. Rooms on the cruise ship were clean and a good size. Also we were aware that entrance fees were not included. Please note that these were paid by card on site. Cash was not allowed. Cash was used for tipping and extra personal purchases. We also had US dollars in case. We highly recommend Itaca Holiday tour company. Thank you for a wonderful holiday in Egypt.

When we first got on the boat, I had a little problem which my guide graciously fixed it for us and he arranged that when we get to Luxor, he’s gonna have a plane for us to go to Cairo instead of the train he arranged for us to take a plane for no additional cost and this made me very happy. The name of the guide is Khaled.

I had an incredible experience with Remon during my trip to Egypt. From the very start, it was clear that he is not just knowledgeable but truly passionate about sharing the rich history and culture of his country. He took the time to explain everything in detail, offering fascinating cultural tidbits that added so much depth to the tour. He also helped me navigate local pricing, which was invaluable. As someone with a severe food allergy, I was initially concerned about dining during my trip, but Remon went above and beyond to ensure I always had safe and delicious options at every venue. NABIL, who guided us with the precision, ferocity, and stealthiness of a tiger, was a 5 stars guide. As a younger person (35) traveling with an older traveler (67),we neither felt too slow or rushed, he took great care of us, and we made some lifelong friends on the way. My wife and I had an excellent Egypt trip with Vacations to Go. From the beginning to the end, they were with us and guided us on each step along the way. Michael was very cordial and made the airport transfer and hotel check-in in Cairo a piece of cake. Max, our Egyptologist guide, explained all the stories and histories about the pyramids and patiently answered our every question. From Cairo, we flew to Aswan and got picked up by them at the airport. Mansoor was our guide for the next 4 days and he was a gem. He stayed on the same Nile cruise as us and explained all the little details along the way along with suggestions and tips to make the trip extra memorable. The Nile cruise, being so peaceful and serene, was the highlight of our trip. Although we found the bus from Luxor to Hurghada was kinda dirty, it was a 5 hr journey so we put up with it. In Hurghada we were picked up by Amr and the resort was a relaxing heaven. By the end of the trip, we were sad to go back and was almost ready to come back soon. Overall, I would recommend Vacations to Go highly to everyone for an Egypt trip.

I went on the 13 Days Highlights of Egypt and Jordan tour at the end of October 2024. This was my first solo trip and I would definitely recommend Vacations To Go Travel for any female wanting to cross off those bucket list items. Every detail was thoughtfully planned out from the moment I arrived at the airport in Cairo to the moment my tour ended. John was the representative who met me at the airport to help with the visa I needed as well as my transportation to and from the hotel. He’s very professional and friendly which put me at ease knowing I could communicate with him at any time with any issues. I had the most wonderful tour guides throughout the whole journey and I will remember them fondly. Sara took me to the pyramids, around Cairo and to Alexandria. She’s very knowledgeable and has great passion for her job. She felt like a sister by the time we were finished and she even held my hand to cross the road with all the crazy Cairo traffic lol. I opted to add on the day trip to Abu Simbel and it did not disappoint. It was a quick flight from Aswan and Waleed was my awesome tour guide who retrieved me from the airport and drove me to the site for a quick 2 hour tour. This was one of the main reasons I came to Egypt and I could’ve stood there all day staring in awe at the large Ramesses II statues on the facade of the temple. After my flight back to Aswan, I boarded a cruise ship for the Nile River cruise visiting so many amazing temples and each one was more interesting and larger than the previous one. During the Nile cruise, Mansour was my fun yet insightful tour guide whom I shared a few meals with as well as had some great conversations. Unfortunately due to some unforeseen events I was not able to complete the Jordan portion of my trip but all in all I am so impressed with all the logistics Vacations To Go Travel had in place. Even dealing with any pre-tour issues with Madgy via message was top notch. As a woman traveling solo I never once felt like my safety was in jeopardy so thank you to everyone involved in facilitating such a fantastic amazing journey. I will hopefully be back one day to experience more beauty Egypt has to offer.

This tour is a good deal for the price. The hotels and cruise accommodations are all quality. Egypt is safe. At no point in the tour did we feel even remotely unsafe. I would strongly recommend the optional hot air balloon and Abu Simbel tours as they were the highlights of our trip. Our guide on the river cruise Anas was very knowledgeable, made sure we always had what we needed and was just a nice guy to hangout with. Top marks. You see a lot in this tour and then have a nice few relaxing days at the end in Hurghada. We booked a pyramid view hotel in Giza a few days prior to the tour and explored some of the main attractions in Cairo. I would recommend extending this trip a few nights in order to see the Muhammad Ali Mosque and Cairo Tower. Overall happy with the tour. Egypt has beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Everything went very smoothly on our trip. Our tour radar manager, Madeline, was very quickly available to answer our questions or make changes to our itinerary. I recommend this trip without hesitation.

As two young female travellers, we were really mindful to pick a reputable and well organized tour company. And we could not have been happier with Egypt Skyway! The organization and quality of the trip was exceptional. Mostafa was available 24/7 to solve any problem or answer questions. All drivers and guides were extremely friendly and took care of us in every situation. We especially want to thank our guides Hana, Taiaat and Mohamed who are all experts in egiptiology and made each excursion so much fun. The nile cruise was amazing (it was only over too fast!), as well as all hotels. We felt safe and welcome at all times. Only thing we would do differently next time is to choose a flight over the night train to the south of Egypt. The night train was an "adventure" for itself, and we did not get too much sleep during the rocky ride. But that is very subjective, and others might love the train ride! :) Overall, we are extremely happy with the whole tour and want to thank the whole team of Egypt skyway for the amazing time!

Coudnt have had a better time. Seeing all the Highlights of Egypt, dun activities like Kayaking and Sailing the nile. Such a great group. Mina Was the best group leader imaginable. Very impressed by Egyptian history and culture. Clear recommendation.

This tour packs in a lot and is so reasonably priced. Our tour guide Mohamed Ebrahim was very educated about all the sites and went above and beyond for everyone on the tour including getting 3 of us that had birthdays that week a beautiful cake! If you can book a tour with Mohamed, you will be taken care of excellently!

I have been dreaming of traveling to Egypt since I was a little girl. This was supposed to be my "trip of a lifetime". From the day of my arrival, this trip turned out to be a big disappointment with one problem after another. I have been home for a week and am still so broken hearted about the way everything turned out. I hold Salwa (the agent at Ancient Egypt Tours) personally responsible for everything that went wrong. DO NOT DEAL WITH HER, she cannot be trusted. She is sneaky and does not give you all the facts, only those she wants to share.

This company is a scam! They hooked me into buying the tour as they advertised a 50% discount and the description originally said "domestic flights included". However the following day after I paid in full for two people they said they "misquoted". They said domestic flights are NOT INCLUDED and that I have to pay an additional $200 per person for a roundtrip flight and that the room "upgrade"is another extra $100 for us to stay in the same room. I asked why the description changed and they denied flights having ever been included, and why it would be more expensive to stay in one room instead of two. But I was stupid enough to get convinced and paid the extras anyway because I was afraid I wouldn't get any refund if I cancel according to the company policy. I found out after the fact when I did more researched websites that the price they charge is

The whole tour was a marvelous experience. Everything was perfectly organized and enjoyable. Peter was an excellent guide, who explained everything in great and knowledgeable detail, he really made the tour something really special. Would definitely travel with Tour Radar again.

We had a lovely time. Helped by an excellent tour guide - Nadil. We were also incredibly lucky to have a group where I would happily spend an evening with anyone of them if we meet up again. The accommodation couldn't be faulted. The starts are often early so be prepared that you will not be having many lie-ins. Many of the ancient sites are unbelievable and I wouldn't have wanted to miss any. Some on the tour visited an extra site called Abu Simbol, as an option and they found it amazing.

Sherif Fawzy, was our guide on our fabulous "On the Go" Egypt tour. I can't rate him highly enough. Sherif is calm, organised,kind and thoughtful, and extremely knowledgeable. Our group of Kiwis, Australians and Canadians just loved him. Our every need was superbly looked after -nothing was an issue. Great leadership takes skill and guiding is like "herding cats" - but Sherif takes time to explain why,when and how, He kept us fully informed, patiently answered many questions, we truly felt like a "family" - this is the most memorable tour i have even been on and Sherif made it extra special.

From the pick up at the airport to drop off the service was better than expected, very well looked after, felt very safe throughout and had an excellent tour guide Sherif who went above and beyond as well as being knowledgeable and helpful, look forward to booking my next trip
