I am so happy I found this tour group and so grateful for a wonderful trip!! Hany from Timeless Tours was so helpful with all of my questions and concerns before and even after the trip. Safety was a top concern but Hany was extremely responsive and indicated how flexible they are should I have wanted to adjust plans! Not only did it feel very safe throughout the trip but I had a blast on the Luxor hot air balloon (and of course loved all of the temples and sites)! After the safety concerns, the next thing I appreciated most about this trip was how small the group was. My group was only 6-9 people during the 10 day trip but we periodically combined with different people from another small group and this was very enjoyable! (I am still texting regularly with many of these friends & we hope to meet up again in Egypt and other countries!) I had a terrific time but shared my feedback for improvement and this was taken earnestly. I really appreciate a company that cares about their clients even after payment or transaction is complete. It shows they value their mission, customers and reputation. I had a great time and would love to go on another tour run by Timeless Tours!
- by Annie PerngVery good tour! It's very complete, you get to see all the "most important" monuments. On top of that I also did the Abu Simbel temple, Hot air baloon and quad. And this I recommend you to add to the tour as they are really worth it. Our guide Amjad was very friendly and helpful, on top of that he knew everything about ancient egypt history and was able to explain everything in detail. 100% recommend this tour!

This is an excellent tour to show you lots interesting stuff in a short time. Very good itinerary, pick ups always on time, our guide Ahmed Kassem was so enthusiastic and interested in telling us all the history, so knowledgeable but didn't overload us and kept checking that we were enjoying ourselves. We felt very safe and well looked after. The boat was lovely and the staff couldn't have done enough for us. Tour manager Tahir was always available if we needed anything and was very helpful and kind.
- by Barbara CarneyOur first time trip to Egypt was one of the best trips ever we’ve had in our life. We booked the Nile cruise trip with Holiday inn Egypt which was one of the best experiences that took us from Luxor to Aswan and then Abu Simbel. Always remember that having a good tour guide is the most important thing you should think of before you get there. I highly recommend Mohamed Kamal, an amazing person with great knowledge, attitude and hospitality who took us to show the best places in the city. We enjoyed and laughed every single minute of our trip with Mohamed kamal an honest and kind person who made our trip to a memorable trip ever specially when he surprised me by celebrating my birthday few times in different locations with different people. Thank you Mohamed, hope to see you again.

The tour is amazing. The sights were amazing and the tour guides are very Knowledgeable. Anas and Nasr made the trip very memorable.
- by Ana RosadoAs a woman travelling alone I felt very safe & well looked after at all times by the experienced guides. Tony, Anas & Ayman were very knowledgeable of each of their designated areas. Maiwa is an expert Egyptologist & it was a wonderful experience to explore the Pyramids & the National Museum with her. The trip lived up to all my expectations. Suzanne Bourke, New Zealand

The tour was well organised. The tour operator was very responsive and communication was never a problem. It covered many of the main attractions and the guides were very good. The itinerary was occasionally quite tight with early mornings which I think might make this too strenuous for the elderly. The accommodation was adequate but a little run down but the location close to restaurants was excellent.
- by Ng Kwee PengSaw so many of the ancient historical tombs and temples and learnt so much as well. A fantastic tour for those interested ancient Egyptian civilization.

I travelled with my family. This is a comprehensive tour of Egypt that touches important sites. The Guides (Nasir and Hassan) were knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. Special mention is driver in Cairo - Muzammil who was helpful. The management is organized, flexible, polite and is available for any support required. It was my first time in Egypt and it was hassle free because of the organization. Good value.
- by fahad nadeemThe Premium Trip to discover Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Abu Simbel nine days was an overall good experience. Egypt is amazing and it is a trip you will never forget. It was well organized and Egypt Direct responded quickly to questions or issues that arose. Our tour guides were excellent and we learned a lot from them. They were all truly kind people. The cabin on the boat for the Nile cruise can be quite chilly in December, (as is Egypt in general in December) so come prepared with warm clothes. Request a cabin on an upper deck towards the center to be as far away as possible from the engines. The downtime sitting up on the deck watching the view was beautiful and much needed rest. The hotel Barcelo Cairo Pyramids was average in terms of comfort, location and newness. Don’t hesitate to ask for a better room if you don’t like the one you’re given. Expect several very early mornings and quite a bit of time spent in airports, cars, and buses traveling to the different sites. The drive to Abu Simbel starts very early in the morning and is four hours one way. It is neat to see, but worth eight hours in a bumpy bus? Not for us. The tour company was very good about making sure we had breakfast to go with our early starts and it was nice having several meals included. The hot air balloon is something you don’t want to miss! Overall, thumbs up for this trip!

It was an incredible experience, we could not have had a better guide. The organization was good but many of the extra activities were overpriced and the quality of the hotels and the train left something to be desired. Overall very good but there are things to polish.

Our journey through Egypt was truly unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional service from Itaca Holiday. A special thank you to our wonderful guide, Peter in Aswan, for his insights and kindness, as well as to our coordinators, Eyed, for their seamless organization. Every detail, from accommodations to transportation, was perfectly arranged, making our trip both comfortable and enjoyable. Egypt’s history and beauty are breathtaking, and this experience was made even more special by the amazing team who took care of us. Highly recommended!

Great itinerary, wonderful guides.
- by Marcel FafchampsThe entire tour was well-organized with good hotels and a phenomenal cruising experience. The staff who organized airport pickups and drop-offs (Michael and John) were real professionals--very courteous, helpful and organized. The Egyptologist tour guide in Cairo (Tamer) was a fountain of knowledge--giving us an awesome primer on ancient Egyptian civilization, while showing the various sights in Cairo. The other Egyptologist tour guide in Aswan and Luxor (Hassan) was a delight to work with--very energetic and very knowledgeable about all the monuments we toured. Overall, we had a great experience and we highly recommend this tour to everyone.

Beyond the Nile tours are actually Nourbelle tours (local name). Harry the main organiser was informative and not too pushy. The entrance fees were US$125 which is approx 20% mark up if you paid by yourself. There were not many queues so paying yourself is an option but as the whole of my tour paid the entrance fees I felt it was easier to pay upfront and be handed the tickets as we arrived at each site. The tour guide provided an overview at each location then you get about 20ish mins to look around yourself. I paid for the hot air balloon (US$135 which is so expensive, others on the tour arranged it themselves for approx US$90 which I wished I did too). An archeologist was the guide at the pyramids (suggest not paying extra to go inside the main tomb as you can visit inside the kings mothers tomb for free & I imagine it’s a lot less claustrophobic as it’s shorter distance to the tomb room). I opted out of the village tour in Aswan and went to the souk myself which was about 40min walk from the cruise boat. The cruise boat was lovely, but I understand it changes all the time. We visited some temples by night along the river and even had about 8 hours on the boat during the day travelling to Luxor, which was needed after the 4am start time to do the hot air balloon (which wasn’t organised well but another has a wonderful souk that is mostly used by locals but still has tourist items for sale, I walked approx 30mins to it from the boat rather than go to the Nubian village. The boat was high quality and the buffet style meals were nice. Abu Simbel is a must! It’s worth the 4am start to see such a magnificent sight even if you stay for just an hour.
- by Emma FoleyThis tour was just fantastic, we had a great adventure and tour guides were amazing, so knowledgeable and passionate about ancient Egypt history, I enjoyed every single single second of this tour,

The organization of the trip was defective, through Egypt Skyway the retailer. In a way it was improvised, we were not given hardly any information about the schedules and the route of the next day nor of course a program to follow (many times getting up very early as it is usual in Egypt). When we asked, on numerous occasions, where we were going, we were told that we would already have information but then the person who was supposed to take us did not know either, so we had to make several phone calls. The hotels were not up to par either, even on one occasion they took us to a private apartment (it was about 23:30h) where there was no mineral water or towels to take a shower, apart from the non-existent breakfast. In summary we did not like the organization except for the guides in Spanish with special mention of Mohamed Mostafa from Luxor and Rosa from Cairo.
- by Pablo Gómez Moreno- all guides were very good - Ship, staff and food were very good (Nile cruise) - Poor transparency of additional costs - additional costs again in the end - Frequent uncertainty as to whether excursions take place when/how - coordination partly "highlife" - The AMC Royal Hotel in Hurghada was absolutely terrible! No 2 stars! - the €100 compulsory charge for a "New Year's Eve dinner" was a sheer tourist rip-off!

Bea was very knowledgeable and personable. It was a pleasure having him as our guide for our tour.
- by Katrina LipscombOur group of 9 did a customized tour for my mom's 90th birthday. In Cairo, Sherif was our guide and took us to the Bent and Red Pyramids, the Great Pyramids & Sphinx (plus camel ride), and the Grand Egyptian Museum. He was informative and generally let us explore at our leisure. We flew to Aswan the next morning where our guide, Mark, helped get us settled on the Nile Admiral and then took us to the unfinished obelisk and Temple of Philae. He ran a fairly constant talk track with some exploring time. Am Bishoy (Bee) was our guide from Aswan to Luxor and provided highly detailed descriptions of all of the sites we visited. They saved the best for last as Bee got the balance of informing us of the rich history, providing his honest perspective, and giving us some time to explore. He also helped make my mom's 70th birthday celebration a memorable experience and was patient with my sister's younger children (6 & 11) although one has had a persistent cough and the other had signs of dehydration sickness (he helped get us medicine for them as well). The ship crew was very friendly and made up for the buffet food being bland by making sure our table always had at least one plate of something spicier. Accomodations were adequate. Definitely loved the experience.

The staff on the cruise were great but the boat itself was tired and dirty. At best this was three star. The food was institutional and was only useful in taking away our hunger. We arrived thinking we would experience 5 star food and drink. Tries several bottles of wine that were off and resorted to beer and gin and tonic as there was no drinkable wine on the boat. The tours were okay but there was little information about what was going on or how long things would take. People need to be kept informed. In summary, staff did there best, food and drink sus standard
- by Timothy DeebleThis is the best way to visit Egypt! We were taken care of the whole time. Our guides were very knowledgeable and all the people involved in the tour were very courteous and helpful. Everything was perfectly arranged and on time, even when our car broke (nobody's fault) the agency responded right away to send another one. Madeline, our tour manager, was exceptional, she continuously contacted us to make sure everything was going well, she was very helpful and always available when we needed some information or had a question. I cannot express how much I can recommend this tour. Thank you, guys! You made our experience unforgettable. 😃

The tour was well very organised which it needed to be with all the travelling and sightseeing included. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole week, the sights of course were amazing. The overnight train was a bit of a challenge but I’m glad I chose this in preference to flying, The driver I had for the most of the week was exceptional, he was very prompt with his pick up times, friendly and his driving was safe and relaxing as far as Egypt can be relaxing ! All the guides were pretty good, non spoke perfect English but they all managed to explain everything ok. They were all knowledgeable and good company and made the trip something special to remember.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience in Egypt and would recommend to this trip to Friends and Family. Each guide and our coordinator did an outstanding job. Minor hiccups are to be expected on an adventure and were addressed and rectified immediately. Thank You Hassan, Faieed, Hany and Mohammed for keeping us on schedule and sharing your beautiful country with us!! What a trip!!
- by Rebecca ReaneyWow — couldn’t have asked for more!! Got to see and do so much. Extremely enjoyable! Would highly recommend.

Coudnt have had a better time. Seeing all the Highlights of Egypt, dun activities like Kayaking and Sailing the nile. Such a great group. Mina Was the best group leader imaginable. Very impressed by Egyptian history and culture. Clear recommendation.
- by Lars InderelstThis tour packs in a lot and is so reasonably priced. Our tour guide Mohamed Ebrahim was very educated about all the sites and went above and beyond for everyone on the tour including getting 3 of us that had birthdays that week a beautiful cake! If you can book a tour with Mohamed, you will be taken care of excellently!
