Northern Vietnam Tour Companies

Unfortunately, due to no fault of the tour operator, we missed the first part of the tour. However the operator was very helpful in trying to resolve our issues. We enjoyed what we did do, the trip to Halong bay was well organised and the tour guide very helpful and informative. The accommodation was very comfortable and the food good.

Our tour with Tourradar and Legend Travel Group completely met our expectations of a great Hanoi and Vietnam tour. The communications before and during the tour were great. Mr Danny met us each day to make sure there were no problems. We were able to see and experience every activity or site that was promised in the tour. The lodging provided was excellent and was centrally located. The individual guides at the various sites were easily understandable and very knowledgeable. Our tour included an overnight on Halong Bay. The boat was very nice with good food and plenty of activities. I would highly recommend Tourradar and Legend Travel Group for a tour of northern Vietnam.

Wonderful trip loved everyday well organised

I would highly recommend this 7 day tour in Vietnam. Viet was extremely well organized and always answered my questions promptly. Vu our trek guide in Sapa was wonderful.

Hera Grand Luxury Cruise was an amazing experience. The 5 course meals were delicious and staff friendly and attentive. Our accommodation was comfortable and gorgeous. Communication with company was prompt and thorough most of the time. Our final transfer had hiccups that were resolved.

Overall , we had a great time. Our tour guide in Ninh Binh can be more considerate. He would always rush us while he would make us wait for him when he was attending to another group. However, we had a great tour guide for Sapa. She gave us the history of the places , Cat cat village and Fansipan. Beautiful area.

The tour was amazing. Mr Daniel is the best! He is a natural guide and sense of humor . He is a lovely guide who gave lots of information about places we visited and answered all questions professionally. He looked after my grandmother when she wasn't well and made sure that he got to know the names of everyone on the tour. He took photos of all of us with his Iphone 7 and ours if we wanted this.This man recommended things to see and informed us of the culture and tradition of the places we passed by. Jenny arrange a cycling trip and arranged a minibus for us after the tour finished as we were going on somewhere else in Tam Coc. Driver to pick us came in late andDoes not speak English. The hotel room we stayed after Halong trip was not cleaned yet when we got in the room. They were trying to check out at 12 pm onnFeb 10, and we stated that we are checked till February 11 although we are leaving 11pm. Enjoyed the Halong cruise and half said Hanoi city tour.

Tour guides needs more improvement, they need to be more adept to communication in English language.

After having the best experience with feel free Thailand I decided to also do the Vietnam tour. Just as I thought things couldn’t get better, it did!! I had Jack and Gab as my team leaders and they were both one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met! Jack and Gab were very considerate, kind, funny and understanding. Jack made me laugh to the point that I was crying happy tears. He gave me a bike riding lesson to help me feel included in all the activities. He made me feel like a princess by kayaking for me while I enjoyed the beautiful scenery, all because I am not a confident kayaker. He made sure that I was always happy and that I was having a great time. If I ever needed anything I knew I could count on both Jack and Gab. During the trip I felt like I was dreaming or in heaven, maybe both. I was lucky to get a group that I now consider friends for life. I loved the activities, the people and the experience. This has so far been one of the best moments in my life and I am grateful to Jack, Gab, the group and feel free travel!!!

Did the 10 Day Vietnam lead by our lovely guides Jamie and Taylor who were great from start to finish and so helpful along the way! The trip was amazing, incredible and beautiful places! Met some fab people on the tour and it was an unforgettable experience and for a great price, only wish I'd booked the longer trip! Highly recommended!

The cycling tour exceeded our expectations, and we are already talking about the next cycling tour in southern Vietnam.

The worst thing about the tour was the lack of detail supplied before departure. A dated itinerary with the departure hotel name would have been a no brainer, most of the participants were unsure of whether the accomodation after the initial 6pm meeting was included. It was never explained that we would be sharing rooms in hotels,fair enough in homestays but a bit of a surprise for the hotel stays. Also the tipping part of the trip..the guide was asking for around $800 US from the group for tips, surely the hotels and drivers were getting paid ok? I've rarely seen tipping in Vietnam before. Its an American practice that is offensive to Australians. That's a lot of money in Vietnam. Our guide BB was excellent and read the group well, the mix of electric bikes ensured every one kept up,and apart from the last day the pace was brisk and entertaining. The last day was led by the mechanic at a very boring walking pace that no one appreciated. I would recommend the trip but would like to see the above points addressed for future groups.

Booby is the best guide you’ll ever have! Hands down! He’s fun, funny and his sole purpose is the make sure everyone had a good time.

Amazing experience, I felt really lucky to have Bobby as our Tour Guide. Very knowledgeable, great English, even better as Vietnamese able to teach us a little, always accommodating and helpful and off course great fun. Loved it, if I go back to Vietname, has to be Bobbeyyy ??

The Vietnam Cycling to the Sapa tour was a thrilling adventure that took us through some of the most picturesque landscapes in Vietnam. Over the course of [number of days], we pedaled through lush valleys, terraced rice fields, and remote villages, providing a unique and immersive experience.

We had the most wonderful family holiday thanks to Realistic Asia and Thang! Our “Golden Triangle of Indochina in 10 Days” tour was perfectly paced, with a mix of activities/tours as well as opportunities to rest and relax. We saw all of the must-see sights in Siem Reap, Luang Prabang, Hanoi, and Halong Bay. Our guides were terrific, and the hotels (we did a mix of 4 and 5-star) and transportation were excellent and comfortable. Realistic Asia was very flexible and accommodating during our planning process. Thang was responsive and communicative leading up to and during the trip, ready to answer any questions we had at any time. We would happily book a trip with Realistic Asia and Thang again!

Very efficient way to explore so much in such little time. Great for solo and group travels. Just some notes for those thinking of booking: It is a collection of tours organised seamlessly - so not the same group or guides for each part Make use of free time i.e. first day and last day to explore more yourself WhatsApp is a must and easy way to be contacted
