From the moment we were picked up from the airport, we felt completely at ease in his capable hands. Nalin's extensive knowledge of the country enriched our journey, and he suggested numerous additional experiences for us to consider. Highlights included visiting the Temple of Dambulla and the Turtle Hatchery. Every experience on the itinerary was impeccably organized, with no waiting involved, and we cherished the fact that we were able to enjoy them as a couple without any other travelers present. I highly recommend taking the train to witness the breathtaking countryside scenery. Our accommodations throughout the trip were superb, thanks to Capital Lanka Tours' careful planning. The final hotel in Colombo was particularly memorable. Upon arrival, I was greeted with traditional Sri Lankan hospitality, marking the beginning of my journey. I must extend a special thank you to my exceptional driver, Heshan. His courteous and polite demeanor, coupled with a high level of professionalism, ensured my safety and comfort throughout the trip. As a solo female traveler, this was particularly reassuring and contributed significantly to making my holiday a positive experience. Heshan also provided valuable recommendations on dining and shopping, drawing upon his local expertise. My tour encompassed a variety of experiences, including safaris, beach days, a hike up Sigiriya, and visits to prominent temples and stupas. A major highlight was reaching the summit of Adams Peak, an unforgettable experience. I was impressed by the tour company's flexibility in accommodating my last-minute request to amend my itinerary. - RSRochelle· January 17th, 2023I arrived in Sri Lanka expecting to go around with a small group, but as it turned out, I ended up doing a solo tour with my chauffeur, Nalin, because 3 other people had postponed due to illness. This experience was absolutely amazing!!! Nalin was like my guide, my chauffeur, my friend, my inside knowledge guy and my interpreter all in one! He was incredibly polite, organised, friendly, generous, kind and professional. All hotel rooms were large and luxurious. Their buffets gave me a great selection of traditional Sri Lankan cuisine and western alternatives. All sites visited were fantastic value. The two safaris (leopard & wild elephant) we did and the mountain areas we visited were a standout. The boat trip looking for whales was also really incredible. All in all, I had an unexpectedly life-changing tour of Sri Lanka, which is filled with the most beautiful people still smiling despite an economic crisis. Sri Lanka is a one-of-a-kind destination. He took so much pride in making sure I was safe and comfortable the entire trip. The tour was completely self paced which meant I had so much flexibility in what activities I did along the holiday which was incredible! We saw all the must see sites of Sri Lanka and more!
