  Gema is the absolute best! She's super organised, and made everyone feel welcome and at ease from minute one, and even before checking that we arrived safely the day before. She was always available and answered all questions with a friendly face and never with delay. She very quickly became more of a friend than a tour guide and has helped me with my Spanish a lot when she really just didn't need to. Her recommendations across the tour have been incredible and really added to the trip. She also has made great connections with drivers and locals across which just shows what a kind and great person she is. I could not recommend Gema enough as a tour guide (and simply great human!)

  Gema is a bundle of joy. She’s a wonderful tour guide. Her energy and smile is so contagious. She was always ready to answer any queries and sort out any requests. Very laid back and chill guide. She’s an absolute asset to tru travels!

  What a wild and wonderful 10 days in Costa Rica - definitely a trip to remember that’s gone by too quick. Costa Rica is full of culture and Gema made sure we got to experience it all! Santa Teresa and the natural hot springs were the main highlights for me! Gema, you truly were a Gem - a great Travel Ninja, and an even better human! Thank you for all the knowledge you’ve shared - your energy is infectious and gave the group the courage to experience the most amazing moments! It’s been incredible! Food spots were 10/10! ❤️💎

  Gema was an amazing tour guide! She was super energetic and outgoing and always had a fun itinerary planned for us! She showed us around in Costa Rica and was really knowledgeable of the places and animals we got to see! She always chose delicious spots for food and always made sure we all had fun! Additionally I felt really safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip. She really made this a very memorable trip and we all became one big family in the end. This was a very unique experience and I would definitely go on another adventure with her!

  Had the best time with our group leaders Gema and Jose, they made us feel welcome from the first day and instantly felt comfortable. We experienced so much in such a short time and felt like a family. Gema made sure we were updated with everything in advance and was very accommodating. From the zip lining to seeing the incredible animals, it was an unforgettable experience and we were able to have free time to do the things we wanted to like horseback riding and the lost canyon which were amazing, thank yous so much will miss yous!!

  I had an amazing experience on my trip to Costa Rica, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Gema! She was incredibly friendly, energetic, and always made us feel at ease. Her enthusiasm and positive attitude made the trip so much more enjoyable. Gema shared fascinating insights about the local culture and wildlife, and her genuine passion for the country was contagious. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a fun and memorable time. Highly recommend her to anyone visiting Costa Rica!

  Gema is an absolute sweetheart. She is so welcoming, friendly and really made me feel at ease when it was my first time on a trip like this! She was so informative, providing us with local cafes and restaurants to try in our own time which was really helpful.   Gema was an amazing tour guide! Such a beautiful and carefree soul. The whole trip was very organised - even if 5 minutes really means 10 haha “Costa Rican time”. Everyday she had a great attitude, great tunes and was extremely enthusiastic about all the places we visited - especially about the history of each place. She also loved to have a fun time with us even if she came out a little worse for wear from the water slide at Baldi Springs hahah. She always made sure everyone was having a good time and provided plenty of laughs! It was an unforgettable trip and i’d happily book another trip with her!

  I’ve been left exhausted by the end of this trip due to the packed itinerary but it was worth it to explore Costa Rica! Each location came with thrilling or more chill optional activities that multiple people from the group (if not all) participated in. Our guide, Gema, is very well traveled and was able to help the girls with many questions and uncomfortabilities of traveling because of it.
