The organisation and communication with the hosts was smooth, the welcome meeting and detailed briefing was in person, which came to me as a big, but very positive surprise.. All instructions were very clear and we got to use the navigation app as well as the actual physical map. As first timers taking part in a self guided tour, to set our minds at ease we connected with the host via WhatsApp and we remained in contact with him for all our questions and concerns. Luckily, we did not have many. The hiking area is breathtaking, the route is not too easy, but a nice challenge for someone who likes to hike and is reasonably fit. The views and the surroundings of every step are unforgettable and I would gladly recommend it to everyone!Show more
- David· December 1st, 2024I’ve ridden several mountain biking tours in the Alps, and I can confidently say this tour in western Slovenia is among the most beautiful. Stunning surroundings and trails that truly impressed both my wife and me. I might have expected slightly easier climbs on some sections. Well-chosen hotels, excellent organization, and smooth execution made up for it. Katarina did an outstanding job. Throughout the tour, we had support and advice on courses and other details. Kudos for the seamless flow of the tour.Show more
- Michele· August 5th, 2024Tour radar were super. I had a person on the end of the phone who was very clear to understand when we initially called to enquire and book our trip. We were connected with a tour company in the area we wished to tour, and the communication with them was great - they wisely used whatsapp as well as emails (unbeknown to me I couldn't access emails abroad). We then interacted with two guides who did their parts exceptionally well. Our accommodation was booked by tour radar and we were settled in without any problems. Our guides took us through technical areas of the mountain range and made us feel comfortable and safe. We were dropped off at our accommodation at the end of our tour with absolutely no complaints. What a super adventure!Show more
