He provided so much information about his country and culture and made it very personable to each of us! The excursions were excellent and the hotels were comfortable! He took us to many sites and told us the history behind them! I would recommend this tour especially if Oskar is your guide!Show more

Trip date: May 2023 - NKNour· September 16th, 2022This was by far the best group tour we had, me and my mother in law had the best time with Hinrik and the whole team. The trip was always pleasant with a very nice soundtrack, we stayed in pleasant hotels and each day was nicer than the other, with a bunch of great activities and adventures. My mother in law is 75 and she was always treated very nicely and with extreme help and patience, Hinrik (our amazing guide) was extremely caring and gentle all the time taking into consideration her needs and limitations. Don· September 14th, 2022A solid but well-paced tour. Guide/driver Jim was very capable with a very pleasing personality. My only suggestion is that it should start and finish at the airport. Booking accommodation and arranging transport is difficult and expensive for foreigners. - MMaria· June 7th, 2022John is a great guide, very knowledgeable, very patient and always always happy, with a soft spot for music that we all enjoyed in our journeys. He made sure we knew a lot of history, facts about the places we were visiting. The trip concentrates a high number of beautiful places that takes your breath away. We did absolutely everything that was planned plus we did some extra stops to visit some extra hidden gems. Iceland is a great country to visit, but with a guide like John is even better. I would even say he has been the best guide I ever had. Alex our guide at the glacier for the hike made the experience outstanding. He gave us detailed instructions about how to use the equipment and helping how to adapt it to us very patiently. He also explained different facts about the place that help us learn more. I have loved the whole visit to Iceland but if I had to chose only one thing to highlight it would be the hike to the glacier.
