Alex· May 7th, 2024Homestay was beautiful. Food was very generic. Tour guides don’t give you much insight into their culture unless you ask. They also hustle you to the give them good reviews on the spot, when you’re trying to relax. With Sapa tours in particular, a few people from the tour guide’s tribe/friends will join. They will offer to help you walk through tricky/slippery parts of the hike, then ask you for money at the end. I quote “I help you, you help me”. Sapa is a beautiful place and I still recommend going regardless. I do think all tours in this area have the same issues, which is disappointing.Show more
