Ashley· July 3rd, 2018Food in India is fantastic and everything you expect it to be. this tour is a great way to get a full understanding of India as a whole while staying in some truly unique accommodations. Meeting the princess in Karauli was not something i was expecting. To hear her talk about her country and her people was a one off experience i havent had in my previous travels.Show more

The itinerary itself was good as it covered a lot in a short space of time. Seeing the highlights of the Golden Triangle was amazing, but it was also nice to go further off the beaten track into Rajasthan. Udiapur was probably my favourite, it's such a beautiful city! Our guide was amazing - a fountain of knowledge and an all-round great person. He really took the whole experience to a new level. The accommodation was what you would expect in India. There were some really lovely heritage properties, but not always up to western hotel standards. But I would have much rather stayed in these locally-run properties than chain hotels any day! It is always nice to feel like you're helping out the local economy. The food was incredible.
