    Emerald Waterways did a wonderful job in housing, feeding, entertaining, and transporting us. I would definitely consider using them again, and would highly recommend them to potential travelers. The Itinerary was rated Average because, frankly, there are simply not a lot of interesting attractions along that route of the Danube. We took the trip because we wanted to see a part of the world neither of us had seen. Well, we saw enough to know we never wanted to visit that part of the world again. I have to give a special thanks to the whole crew of the Emerald Destiny for accommodating my illness. Unfortunately, I contracted an intestinal infection that was painful and kept me having to be near a WC at all times. They fixed a special diet for me, and arranged to have me taken to hospital in Ruse, Hungary where I was examined and got medicines prescribed. We could have never figured out how to get to the hospital and find the right clinic by ourselves. Great job!

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before June 9th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 9th, 2025, a minimum payment of $500 is required to confirm your booking with Emerald Cruises. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • The following cards are accepted for "Emerald Cruises" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
